爾猶大人、在我聖山而飲、萬邦亦將如是恆飲、且飲且咽、將若未嘗有者、

昔猶大人居我聖山、而飲苦杯、列邦之人、亦必群飲、且飲且啜、歸於死亡、

爾曹猶大人在我聖山、已飲苦杯、列邦之人、亦必恆飲、且飲且吸、歸於烏有、若原未有、

Just as you drank on my holy hill, so all the nations will drink continually; they will drink and drink and be as if they had never been.

You Edomites made my holy mountain of Zion impure by drinking and celebrating there. So all the nations will drink from the cup of my anger. And they will keep on drinking from it. They will vanish. It will be as if they had never existed.

For as you have drunk on my holy mountain, so all the nations shall drink continually; they shall drink and swallow, and shall be as though they had never been.

Just as you swallowed up my people on my holy mountain, so you and the surrounding nations will swallow the punishment I pour out on you. Yes, all you nations will drink and stagger and disappear from history.

As you have drunk on my holy mountain, so all the nations will drink continually. They will drink and gulp down and be as though they had never been.

For just as you drank on My holy mountain, All the nations will drink continually. They will drink to the last drop, And become as if they had never existed.

耶和華這樣說：“看哪！原不該喝那杯的，尚且一定要喝，難道你可以完全免受刑罰嗎？你必不能免受刑罰，你一定要喝那杯。

你們知道我是耶和華你們的神，是住在錫安我的聖山上。那時，耶路撒冷必成為聖。外族人必不得從其中經過。

你的主耶和華，就是為自己的子民爭辯的神，這樣說：“看哪！我已經把那使人搖搖擺擺的杯，就是我烈怒的爵，從你的手裡挪去了；你必不再喝這杯。我必把這杯放在那些苦待你的人的手裡；他們曾對你說：‘你屈身俯伏，讓我們走過去吧！’你就以你的背作陸地，作街道，任由他們踏過去。”

耶和華以色列的神對我這樣說：“你從我的手中拿這杯烈怒的酒，給列國喝，就是我差遣你去的列國。他們喝了，就會東倒西歪，瘋狂亂性，因為我打發刀劍到他們中間去。”

因為審判從神的家開始，就在這時候了。如果先從我們起頭，那不信從神福音的人，結局將要怎樣呢？

那時，所有攻擊亞利伊勒的列國眾軍，就是所有攻擊亞利伊勒和它的堡壘，以及迫害它的，必如夢景，如夜間的異象。又像飢餓的人在夢中吃飯，醒了以後，仍然覺得飢餓；又像口渴的人在夢中喝水，醒了以後，仍然覺得口渴，心裡還是想喝。那攻打錫安山的列國眾軍，也必這樣。

他們定著臉面向前，齊來行暴，擄獲戰俘多如塵沙。

“你要對他們說：‘萬軍之耶和華以色列的神這樣說：你們要喝，並要喝醉，嘔吐，以致跌倒，不能再起來，因為我打發刀劍到你們中間去。’如果他們不肯從你的手中接過這杯來喝，你就要對他們說：‘萬軍之耶和華這樣說：你們一定要喝。因為，看哪！我既然在那稱為我名下的城中先降災禍，你們真可免受懲罰嗎？你們必不能免受懲罰，因為我要呼喚刀劍來攻擊這地所有的居民。’”這是萬軍之耶和華的宣告。

列國之民啊！你們儘管作惡，但你們終必毀滅！所有在遠處的人民啊，要留心聽！你們儘管束腰吧，你們終必毀滅！你們儘管束腰吧，你們終必毀滅！你們儘管計劃陰謀吧，這些終必失敗；你們儘管提議吧，這些終必不能成立，因為神與我們同在。

原來耶和華的手裡有杯，裝滿了起沫和混雜各種香料的酒；他把酒從杯裡倒出來，地上所有的惡人都必定要喝，甚至連酒的渣滓都要喝盡。至於我，我要永遠傳揚，我要向雅各的神歌唱。

但耶和華這樣說：“就是勇士所俘擄的，也可以奪回，強暴者所搶去的，也可以救出來；與你相爭的，我必與他們相爭；你的兒女，我卻要拯救。我要使那些欺壓你的人，吃自己的肉；他們必喝自己的血醉倒，好像喝了甜酒一樣；那麼所有的人都必知道，我耶和華是你的拯救者，是你的救贖主，是雅各的大能者。”

我已經很久緘默不言，閉口不語，但現在我要像待產的婦人一樣呼喊，我要急速地喘氣。
