“ The day of the Lord is near for all nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head.

Because you have plundered many nations, All the remnant of the people shall plunder you, Because of men’s blood And the violence of the land and the city, And of all who dwell in it.

For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.

For the day is near, Even the day of the Lord is near; It will be a day of clouds, the time of the Gentiles.

For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Assemble and come, all you nations, And gather together all around. Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O Lord.“ Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations.Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. O daughter of Babylon, who are to be destroyed, Happy the one who repays you as you have served us!

As you rejoiced because the inheritance of the house of Israel was desolate, so I will do to you; you shall be desolate, O Mount Seir, as well as all of Edom— all of it! Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”’

Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is at hand; It shall come as destruction from the Almighty.

And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury On the nations that have not heard.”

“ Behold, I will raise them Out of the place to which you have sold them, And will return your retaliation upon your own head.I will sell your sons and your daughters Into the hand of the people of Judah, And they will sell them to the Sabeans, To a people far off; For the Lord has spoken.”

And Adoni-Bezek said,“ Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off used to gather scraps under my table; as I have done, so God has repaid me.” Then they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.

The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath.He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.

Judah also will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations Shall be gathered together: Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance.Such also shall be the plague On the horse and the mule, On the camel and the donkey, And on all the cattle that will be in those camps. So shall this plague be.And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain.If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, You who dwell in the land of Uz! The cup shall also pass over to you And you shall become drunk and make yourself naked.The punishment of your iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; He will no longer send you into captivity. He will punish your iniquity, O daughter of Edom; He will uncover your sins!

“ Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord,“ that I will punish all who are circumcised with the uncircumcised—Egypt, Judah, Edom, the people of Ammon, Moab, and all who are in the farthest corners, who dwell in the wilderness. For all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.”

For thus says the Lord God of Israel to me:“ Take this wine cup of fury from My hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send you, to drink it.And they will drink and stagger and go mad because of the sword that I will send among them.”Then I took the cup from the LORD’s hand, and made all the nations drink, to whom the Lord had sent me:Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, its kings and its princes, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse, as it is this day;Pharaoh king of Egypt, his servants, his princes, and all his people;all the mixed multitude, all the kings of the land of Uz, all the kings of the land of the Philistines( namely, Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod);Edom, Moab, and the people of Ammon;all the kings of Tyre, all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the coastlands which are across the sea;Dedan, Tema, Buz, and all who are in the farthest corners;all the kings of Arabia and all the kings of the mixed multitude who dwell in the desert;all the kings of Zimri, all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes;all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the world which are on the face of the earth. Also the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.“ Therefore you shall say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:“ Drink, be drunk, and vomit! Fall and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.”’And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup from your hand to drink, then you shall say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts:“ You shall certainly drink!For behold, I begin to bring calamity on the city which is called by My name, and should you be utterly unpunished? You shall not be unpunished, for I will call for a sword on all the inhabitants of the earth,” says the Lord of hosts.’
