耶和華督責列邦、其日伊邇、必視爾所為、以加諸爾、爾所作之事、必報應於一身、

主罰異邦、其日伊邇、循爾所行、人亦將行於爾、爾應得之報、必臨於爾身、身原文作首

“ The day of the Lord is near for all nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head.

“ The day of the Lord is near for all the nations. Others will do to you what you have done to them. You will be paid back for what you have done.

For the day of the Lord is near upon all the nations. As you have done, it shall be done to you; your deeds shall return on your own head.

“ The day is near when I, the Lord, will judge all godless nations! As you have done to Israel, so it will be done to you. All your evil deeds will fall back on your own heads.

For the day of the LORD is near, against all the nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; what you deserve will return on your own head.

For the day of the LORD[ is] near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

“ For the day of the LORD is approaching for all the nations! Just as you have done, so it will be done to you. You will get exactly what your deeds deserve.

For the day of Yahweh is near all the nations! As you have done, it will be done to you. Your deeds will return upon your own head.

Because you have plundered many nations, the peoples who are left will plunder you. For you have shed human blood; you have destroyed lands and cities and everyone in them. (niv)

For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. (niv)

For the day is near, the day of the Lord is near— a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations. (niv)

because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment. (niv)

Come quickly, all you nations from every side, and assemble there. Bring down your warriors, Lord!“ Let the nations be roused; let them advance into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, for there I will sit to judge all the nations on every side.Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, trample the grapes, for the winepress is full and the vats overflow— so great is their wickedness!”Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is the one who repays you according to what you have done to us. (niv)

Because you rejoiced when the inheritance of Israel became desolate, that is how I will treat you. You will be desolate, Mount Seir, you and all of Edom. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’” (niv)

“ Summon archers against Babylon, all those who draw the bow. Encamp all around her; let no one escape. Repay her for her deeds; do to her as she has done. For she has defied the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ If those who do not deserve to drink the cup must drink it, why should you go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, but must drink it. (niv)

Alas for that day! For the day of the Lord is near; it will come like destruction from the Almighty. (niv)

I will take vengeance in anger and wrath on the nations that have not obeyed me.” (niv)

“ See, I am going to rouse them out of the places to which you sold them, and I will return on your own heads what you have done.I will sell your sons and daughters to the people of Judah, and they will sell them to the Sabeans, a nation far away.” The Lord has spoken. (niv)

Then Adoni-Bezek said,“ Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off have picked up scraps under my table. Now God has paid me back for what I did to them.” They brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there. (niv)

The Lord is at your right hand; he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead and crushing the rulers of the whole earth. (niv)

Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected— great quantities of gold and silver and clothing.A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain.If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The Lord will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. (niv)

Rejoice and be glad, Daughter Edom, you who live in the land of Uz. But to you also the cup will be passed; you will be drunk and stripped naked.Your punishment will end, Daughter Zion; he will not prolong your exile. But he will punish your sin, Daughter Edom, and expose your wickedness. (niv)

“ The days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ when I will punish all who are circumcised only in the flesh—Egypt, Judah, Edom, Ammon, Moab and all who live in the wilderness in distant places. For all these nations are really uncircumcised, and even the whole house of Israel is uncircumcised in heart.” (niv)

This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, said to me:“ Take from my hand this cup filled with the wine of my wrath and make all the nations to whom I send you drink it.When they drink it, they will stagger and go mad because of the sword I will send among them.”So I took the cup from the Lord’s hand and made all the nations to whom he sent me drink it:Jerusalem and the towns of Judah, its kings and officials, to make them a ruin and an object of horror and scorn, a curse— as they are today;Pharaoh king of Egypt, his attendants, his officials and all his people,and all the foreign people there; all the kings of Uz; all the kings of the Philistines( those of Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the people left at Ashdod);Edom, Moab and Ammon;all the kings of Tyre and Sidon; the kings of the coastlands across the sea;Dedan, Tema, Buz and all who are in distant places;all the kings of Arabia and all the kings of the foreign people who live in the wilderness;all the kings of Zimri, Elam and Media;and all the kings of the north, near and far, one after the other— all the kingdoms on the face of the earth. And after all of them, the king of Sheshak will drink it too.“ Then tell them,‘ This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Drink, get drunk and vomit, and fall to rise no more because of the sword I will send among you.’But if they refuse to take the cup from your hand and drink, tell them,‘ This is what the Lord Almighty says: You must drink it!See, I am beginning to bring disaster on the city that bears my Name, and will you indeed go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, for I am calling down a sword on all who live on the earth, declares the Lord Almighty.’ (niv)
