你们不要多说骄傲的话，也不要口出狂妄之言，因为耶和华是全知的神，人的一切行为他都鉴察。

我能数算我全身的骨头，他们却瞪着眼看我。

那些逞骄傲，态度轻慢，说话狂傲攻击义人的，愿他们说谎的嘴唇哑而无声。

我亲眼看见那些窥伺我的人遭报，我亲耳听见那些起来攻击我的恶人受罚。

我的神必以慈爱迎接我；神必叫我看见我的仇敌遭报。

“你这个想拆毁圣所，三日之内又把它建造起来的，救救自己吧！如果你是神的儿子，从十字架上下来吧！”祭司长、经学家和长老也同样讥笑他，说：“他救了别人，却不能救自己。如果他是以色列的王，现在可以从十字架上下来，我们就信他。他信靠神；如果神喜悦他，就让神现在救他吧，因为他说自己是神的儿子。”

我的仇敌啊！不要因我的遭遇而高兴；我虽然跌倒了，却必起来；我虽然坐在黑暗里，耶和华却必作我的光。我要担当耶和华的忿怒，因为我得罪了他，直到他审断我的案件，为我主持公道；他必把我领出来，到光明中去，我就得见他的公义。我的仇敌看见了，就必蒙羞，就是那曾经对我说：“耶和华你的神在哪里”的人，我必亲眼看见他遭报；那时，他必被人践踏，好像街上的泥土。

你藉着你的臣仆辱骂主；你又说：我率领我众多的战车上了群山的高峰，到了黎巴嫩极深之处。我砍伐其中高大的香柏树和佳美的松树；我去到极高之处，进入肥田般的树林。

主耶和华这样说：因为你手舞足蹈，心存轻蔑，因以色列地的遭遇而欢喜。所以我必伸手攻击你，把你交给列国作掠物；我必从万族中剪除你，使你从列邦中灭亡；我必消灭你，你就知道我是耶和华。’”

以东人哪，乌斯地的居民哪，欢喜快乐吧！这杯也要传到你那里，你必喝醉以致赤身露体。

照样，舌头虽然是个小肢体，却会说夸大的话。试看，星星之火，可以燎原；

这些人常发牢骚，怨天尤人，顺着自己的私欲行事，口说夸张的话，为了利益就不惜阿谀奉承。

龙又给了那兽一张说夸大和亵渎话的嘴巴，也给了它权柄可以任意而行四十二个月。

但主必笑他，因为知道他遭报的日子快要来到。

我若因恨我的人遭灾祸而欢喜，或因他遇患难而高兴；

因为他们说虚妄夸大的话，用肉体的私欲和邪荡的事，引诱那些刚刚逃脱了错谬生活的人。

他救我脱离了一切患难；我亲眼看见了我的仇敌灭亡。
