And those men said to him,“ We became defiled by a human corpse. Why are we kept from presenting the offering of the Lord at its appointed time among the children of Israel?”

那些人对他说：“我们因尸体而不洁净，为何禁止我们，不能和以色列人在所定的日期献供物给耶和华呢？”

说：“我们不过因碰到死尸而不洁净，为什么不准我们跟其他以色列人一起在指定的时间向耶和华献供物？”

这些人对摩西说：“我们虽然因为接触死人而不洁净，为什么我们被拒绝，不能在以色列人中，在指定的时间献耶和华的供物呢？”

說：「我們雖因死屍而不潔淨，為何被阻止、不得同以色列人在所定的日期獻耶和華的供物呢？」

那些人對他說：「我們因屍體而不潔淨，為何禁止我們，不能和以色列人在所定的日期獻供物給耶和華呢？」

那些人對他說：「我們因屍體而不潔淨，為何禁止我們，不能和以色列人在所定的日期獻供物給耶和華呢？」

說：「我們不過因碰到死屍而不潔淨，為什麼不准我們跟其他以色列人一起在指定的時間向耶和華獻供物？」

這些人對摩西說：“我們雖然因為接觸死人而不潔淨，為甚麼我們被拒絕，不能在以色列人中，在指定的時間獻耶和華的供物呢？”

對他們說：『我們是因人的屍體而不潔淨的；為甚麼我們被看為例外、不得在以色列人中、在制定時間內、獻永恆主應得的供物呢？』

曰、吾儕緣尸蒙污、屆期奚禁我與以色列族、同獻禮物於耶和華、

曰、吾儕雖捫尸自玷、屆期奚禁我與以色列族同獻禮物、以事耶和華。

我近屍蒙不潔、不得與以色列人同於所定之日期、於主獻當獻之祭、若何而可、

and said to Moses,“ We have become unclean because of a dead body, but why should we be kept from presenting the Lord’s offering with the other Israelites at the appointed time?”

They said to Moses,“ We went near a dead body. So we aren’t‘ clean.’ But why should we be kept from bringing the Lord’ s offering at the appointed time? Why shouldn’t we bring it along with the other Israelites?”

And those men said to him,“ We are unclean through touching a dead body. Why are we kept from bringing the Lord’s offering at its appointed time among the people of Israel?”

and said,“ We have become ceremonially unclean by touching a dead body. But why should we be prevented from presenting the Lord’s offering at the proper time with the rest of the Israelites?”

and said to him,“ We are unclean because of a human corpse. Why should we be excluded from presenting the LORD’s offering at its appointed time with the other Israelites?”

Those men said to him,“ Though we are unclean because of a dead person, why are we kept from presenting the offering of the Lord at its appointed time among the sons of Israel?”

and those men said unto him, We are unclean by reason of the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer the oblation of Jehovah in its appointed season among the children of Israel?

and said to him,“ We are unclean because of a human corpse. Why should we be excluded from presenting the Lord’s offering at its appointed time with the other Israelites?”

And those men said unto him, We[ are] defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel?

And those men said to him,“ We are ceremonially defiled by the dead body of a man; why are we kept back from offering the LORD’s offering at its appointed time among the Israelites?”

Those men said to him,“ We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season among the children of Israel?”

that you shall say,‘ It is the Passover sacrifice of the Lord, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our households.’” So the people bowed their heads and worshiped.

Therefore you shall sacrifice the Passover to the Lord your God, from the flock and the herd, in the place where the Lord chooses to put His name.

Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

For there were many in the assembly who had not sanctified themselves; therefore the Levites had charge of the slaughter of the Passover lambs for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to the Lord.For a multitude of the people, many from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover contrary to what was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying,“ May the good Lord provide atonement for everyonewho prepares his heart to seek God, the Lord God of his fathers, though he is not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.”

“ Let the children of Israel keep the Passover at its appointed time.
