But some of them could not celebrate the Passover on that day because they were ceremonially unclean on account of a dead body. So they came to Moses and Aaron that same day

But some of them couldn’t celebrate the Passover Feast on that day. That’s because they weren’t“ clean.” They had gone near a dead body. So they came to Moses and Aaron that same day.

And there were certain men who were unclean through touching a dead body, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and Aaron on that day.

俱至會幕、立於摩西、祭司以利亞撒、會長及會眾之前、曰、

摩西曰、民咸就我、諮詢上帝之意耳。

在野有見殺者、或自斃之尸、或人骨、或荒塚、凡捫之者、必蒙不潔、迨七日乃免。

凡捫人之尸必蒙不潔、迨七日乃免。

告以色列族云、凡患癩疾、白濁、及捫尸蒙污之人、

我有一策、爾其從我、以希上帝之眷佑、爾在上帝兆民之間、可以其事呈於上帝前、

蒙潔之人、浸牛膝草於中、灑幕與器、及在幕之眾、更及捫見殺者自斃者之尸、捫骨捫塚者、

平旦、人曳耶穌、自該亞法至公廨、眾不入公廨、恐為所浼、不得食逾越節筵也、

隨時鞫民、事鉅則往告、事細則自鞫。

奉我之時、毋近尸側。既留髮以奉我、雖其父母兄弟姊妹死、毋為之蒙不潔。

勿近尸側、即父母之尸亦勿近之、而蒙不潔。

摩西以其事呈於耶和華。

遂攜之至摩西亞倫、及會眾前、
