有數人因近屍蒙不潔、不能於是日守逾越節、故當日至摩西亞倫前曰、

But some of them could not celebrate the Passover on that day because they were ceremonially unclean on account of a dead body. So they came to Moses and Aaron that same day

But some of them couldn’t celebrate the Passover Feast on that day. That’s because they weren’t“ clean.” They had gone near a dead body. So they came to Moses and Aaron that same day.

And there were certain men who were unclean through touching a dead body, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and Aaron on that day.

站在会幕门口，在摩西和以利亚撒祭司，以及众领袖与全会众面前，说：

摩西对岳父说：“这是因为百姓到我这里来求问上帝。

任何人在田野里摸了被刀杀的，或自然死的，或人的骨头，或坟墓，就必不洁净七天。

“摸了任何人死尸的，必不洁净七天。

“你要吩咐以色列人，把一切患麻风的、患漏症的和因尸体而不洁净的，都送到营外去。

现在，听我的话，我给你出个主意，愿上帝与你同在。你要代替百姓到上帝面前，将事件带到上帝那里，

一个洁净的人要拿牛膝草蘸在这水中，把水弹在帐棚上，和一切器皿以及帐棚内的人身上，又要弹在那摸了骨头，或摸了被杀的或自然死的，或摸了坟墓的人身上。

他们把耶稣从该亚法那里押解到总督府。那时是清早。他们自己却不进总督府，恐怕染了污秽，不能吃逾越节的宴席。

他们随时审判百姓：难断的事就送到摩西那里，各样小事就由他们自行判决。

以色列妇人的儿子诅咒，亵渎了圣名。有人把他送到摩西那里。他的母亲名叫示罗密，是但支派底伯利的女儿。

在他一切离俗归耶和华的日子，不可挨近死尸。即使他的父母或兄弟姊妹死了，他也不可因他们使自己不洁净，因为他头上有离俗归上帝的记号。

不可挨近任何死尸，即使为了父母也不可玷污自己。

于是，摩西将她们的案件呈到耶和华面前。

发现他捡柴的人把他带到摩西、亚伦以及全会众那里。
