你們要把羊羔留到本月十四日，在黃昏的時候（“在黃昏的時候”直譯是“兩黃昏之間”），以色列全體會眾要把羊羔宰殺。他們要取點血，塗在吃羊羔的房屋兩邊的門柱和門楣上。當那一夜，你們要吃羊羔的肉，肉要用火烤了，和無酵餅與苦菜一同吃，不可吃生的，也不可用水煮；只可吃用火烤的。頭、腿和內臟都一起吃。你們一點也不可留到早晨；如果有一點留到早晨，就要用火燒掉。你們要這樣吃羊羔：腰間束上帶，腳上穿著鞋，手中拿著杖，快速地吃；這是耶和華的逾越節。

他們要在二月十四日，黃昏的時候，守逾越節，同時要吃無酵餅和苦菜；一點也不留到早晨，羊羔的骨頭，一根也不可折斷；他們要照著逾越節的一切律例守節。

因為王和眾領袖，以及耶路撒冷的全體會眾曾經商議，要在二月守逾越節。

如果這樣，他從創世以來，就必須受許多次的苦了。可是現在他在這世代的終結，只顯現一次，把自己作為祭品獻上，好除掉罪。

“正月十四日黃昏的時候（“黃昏的時候”直譯是“兩黃昏之間”），是耶和華的逾越節。

二月十四日，他們宰了逾越節的羊羔。祭司和利未人都覺得慚愧，就自潔，把燔祭帶到耶和華的殿裡。
