Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out.

It didn’t matter whether the cloud stayed above the holy tent for two days or a month or a year. The Israelites would remain in camp. They wouldn’t start out. But when the cloud lifted, they would start out.

Whether it was two days, or a month, or a longer time, that the cloud continued over the tabernacle, abiding there, the people of Israel remained in camp and did not set out, but when it lifted they set out.

一路上，雲彩從聖幕升起，他們就出發。雲彩不升起，他們就不出發，一直等到雲彩升起。

耶和華說：「我要教導你，引領你走正路；我要勸導你，看顧你。

帶領他們走直路，到可居住的城邑。

雲彩什麼時候從聖幕上升起，以色列人就啟行；雲彩在哪裡停下來，以色列人就在哪裡安營。

摩西照耶和華的吩咐把事情都辦好了。

「我們的上帝耶和華在何烈山對我們說，『你們在這裡已經住了多日，現在該啟程前往亞摩利人的山區、亞拉巴地區、山地、丘陵、南地、沿海一帶、迦南和黎巴嫩，直到幼發拉底河。

你要全心信靠耶和華，不可倚靠自己的悟性。凡事都要尋求祂，祂必指引你走正路。

這一切都是以色列人照耶和華對摩西的吩咐做的。

你藉著摩西和亞倫的手引領你的子民，如同牧人引領羊群。

以色列人就按耶和華對摩西的吩咐行了。

摩西、亞倫和以色列全體會眾就按照耶和華對摩西的吩咐把利未人獻上。

『你們在這山區繞行的日子夠了，現在轉向北方吧。你告訴眾人，你們將經過西珥，那裡住著你們的親屬以掃的子孫。他們懼怕你們，所以要格外謹慎，

求你教導我遵行你的旨意，因為你是我的上帝，願你良善的靈引導我走平坦的路。

有一次，耶穌和他們在一起吃飯的時候，叮囑他們：「你們不要離開耶路撒冷，要在那裡等候我對你們說過的天父的應許。

雅各的子孫中未見有罪惡，以色列人中看不見有禍患。他們的上帝耶和華與他們同在，他們向自己的君王歡呼。上帝把他們帶出埃及，祂的力量如野牛之角。

你以諄諄教誨指引我，以後必接我到榮耀中。

因為上帝永永遠遠是我們的上帝，祂必引領我們，直到我們離世之日。
