Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out.

It didn’t matter whether the cloud stayed above the holy tent for two days or a month or a year. The Israelites would remain in camp. They wouldn’t start out. But when the cloud lifted, they would start out.

Whether it was two days, or a month, or a longer time, that the cloud continued over the tabernacle, abiding there, the people of Israel remained in camp and did not set out, but when it lifted they set out.

一路上，云彩从圣幕升起，他们就出发。云彩不升起，他们就不出发，一直等到云彩升起。

耶和华说：“我要教导你，引领你走正路；我要劝导你，看顾你。

带领他们走直路，到可居住的城邑。

云彩什么时候从圣幕上升起，以色列人就启行；云彩在哪里停下来，以色列人就在哪里安营。

摩西照耶和华的吩咐把事情都办好了。

“我们的上帝耶和华在何烈山对我们说，‘你们在这里已经住了多日，现在该启程前往亚摩利人的山区、亚拉巴地区、山地、丘陵、南地、沿海一带、迦南和黎巴嫩，直到幼发拉底河。

你要全心信靠耶和华，不可倚靠自己的悟性。凡事都要寻求祂，祂必指引你走正路。

这一切都是以色列人照耶和华对摩西的吩咐做的。

你借着摩西和亚伦的手引领你的子民，如同牧人引领羊群。

以色列人就按耶和华对摩西的吩咐行了。

摩西、亚伦和以色列全体会众就按照耶和华对摩西的吩咐把利未人献上。

‘你们在这山区绕行的日子够了，现在转向北方吧。你告诉众人，你们将经过西珥，那里住着你们的亲属以扫的子孙。他们惧怕你们，所以要格外谨慎，

求你教导我遵行你的旨意，因为你是我的上帝，愿你良善的灵引导我走平坦的路。

有一次，耶稣和他们在一起吃饭的时候，叮嘱他们：“你们不要离开耶路撒冷，要在那里等候我对你们说过的天父的应许。

雅各的子孙中未见有罪恶，以色列人中看不见有祸患。他们的上帝耶和华与他们同在，他们向自己的君王欢呼。上帝把他们带出埃及，祂的力量如野牛之角。

你以谆谆教诲指引我，以后必接我到荣耀中。

因为上帝永永远远是我们的上帝，祂必引领我们，直到我们离世之日。
