Whenever the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the Israelites would begin their journey; and in whatever place the cloud settled, there the Israelites would make camp.

Whenever the cloud lifted from above the tent, the Israelites set out; wherever the cloud settled, the Israelites encamped.

When the cloud lifted from its place above the tent, the Israelites started out. Where the cloud settled, the Israelites camped.

And whenever the cloud lifted from over the tent, after that the people of Israel set out, and in the place where the cloud settled down, there the people of Israel camped.

Whenever the cloud lifted from over the sacred tent, the people of Israel would break camp and follow it. And wherever the cloud settled, the people of Israel would set up camp.

Whenever the cloud was lifted up above the tent, the Israelites would set out; at the place where the cloud stopped, there the Israelites camped.

Whenever the cloud was lifted from over the tent, afterward the sons of Israel would set out; and in the place where the cloud settled down, there the sons of Israel would camp.

But when the cloud was lifted up from the tabernacle, the Israelites would set out on all their journeys;but if the cloud was not lifted up, then they would not journey further until the day it was lifted up.For the cloud of the LORD was on the tabernacle by day, but fire would be on it at night, in plain view of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

I will instruct and teach you about how you should live. I will advise you as I look you in the eye.

I am the door. If anyone enters through me, he will be saved, and will come in and go out, and find pasture.

The doorkeeper opens the door for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.When he has brought all his own sheep out, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they recognize his voice.They will never follow a stranger, but will run away from him, because they do not recognize the stranger’s voice.”

So they traveled from the mountain of the LORD three days’ journey; and the ark of the covenant of the LORD was traveling before them during the three days’ journey, to find a resting place for them.And the cloud of the LORD was over them by day, when they traveled from the camp.

You guide me by your wise advice, and then you will lead me to a position of honor.

And the LORD said,“ My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”And Moses said to him,“ If your presence does not go with us, do not take us up from here.

On the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle of the testimony.So the Israelites set out on their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud settled in the wilderness of Paran.

They will not be hungry or thirsty; the sun’s oppressive heat will not beat down on them, for one who has compassion on them will guide them; he will lead them to springs of water.

O shepherd of Israel, pay attention, you who lead Joseph like a flock of sheep! You who sit enthroned above the winged angels, reveal your splendor!In the sight of Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh reveal your power! Come and deliver us!
