On the day the tabernacle, the tent of the covenant law, was set up, the cloud covered it. From evening till morning the cloud above the tabernacle looked like fire.

The holy tent was set up. It was the tent where the tablets of the covenant law were kept. On the day it was set up, the cloud covered it. From evening until morning the cloud above the tent looked like fire.

On the day that the tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the testimony. And at evening it was over the tabernacle like the appearance of fire until morning.

On the day the Tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered it. But from evening until morning the cloud over the Tabernacle looked like a pillar of fire.

On the day the tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the testimony, and it appeared like fire above the tabernacle from evening until morning.

耶和华走在他们前面，白天用云柱为他们指示道路，晚上用火柱照亮他们，这样他们可以日夜赶路。

那时，有云彩遮盖会幕，耶和华的荣光充满了圣幕。

你还是对他们大施怜悯，没有在旷野离弃他们。白天，云柱没有离开他们，仍然引导他们前行；夜间，火柱仍然照亮他们当走的路。

祂白天以云柱带领他们，晚上用火柱引导他们。

耶和华必在日间用烟云遮蔽整个锡安山和那里的会众，在夜间用火光照亮他们。祂的荣耀必遮盖一切，

这时，在以色列人前面领路的上帝的天使，转到百姓后面，云柱也随着移到后面立住。云柱停在埃及军队和以色列人的中间，埃及军队这边一片黑暗，以色列人那边却有光，双方整夜都无法接近对方。

当他进去的时候，基路伯天使站在殿的南边，内院充满了云彩。耶和华的荣耀从基路伯天使的上面升起，停在殿的门口，殿里充满了云彩，院子也充满了耶和华荣耀的光辉。

白天，你用云柱带领他们；夜间，你用火柱照亮他们当走的路。

“你要在一月一日支起圣幕，即会幕，

一路上，白天有耶和华的云彩停留在圣幕上面，夜间云中有火光为以色列百姓照明。

祂铺展云彩为他们遮荫，晚上用火给他们照明。

第二年一月一日，圣幕支起来了。摩西支起圣幕，装上带凹槽的底座，竖起木板，插上横闩，立起柱子，

到了破晓时分，耶和华从云柱火柱中俯视埃及军队，扰乱他们的队伍。

摩西进入会幕后，便有云柱降下来，停在会幕门口，耶和华就跟摩西说话。每当百姓看见这景象，他们都站在自己的帐篷门口敬拜耶和华。

弟兄姊妹，我希望你们知道，我们的祖先曾经在云下走过红海，

一定会告诉迦南的居民。那里的居民早已听说你耶和华与以色列人同在，你面对面向他们显现，你的云彩停留在他们上面，你白天用云柱、黑夜用火柱引导他们。
