but they are to do it on the fourteenth day of the second month at twilight. They are to eat the lamb, together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

They must celebrate it on the 14th day of the second month. They must do so when the sun goes down. They must eat the lamb together with bread made without yeast. They must eat it with bitter plants.

In the second month on the fourteenth day at twilight they shall keep it. They shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

They must offer the Passover sacrifice one month later, at twilight on the fourteenth day of the second month. They must eat the Passover lamb at that time with bitter salad greens and bread made without yeast.

Such people are to observe it in the second month, on the fourteenth day at twilight. They are to eat the animal with unleavened bread and bitter herbs;

因为王和众领袖，以及耶路撒冷全会众已经商议，要在二月份守逾越节。那时他们不能守，因为分别为圣的祭司不够，百姓也还没有聚集在耶路撒冷。这事在王与全会众眼中都看为合宜。于是他们下令，通告全以色列，从别是巴直到但，吩咐百姓都来，在耶路撒冷向耶和华—以色列的神守逾越节，因为他们已经许久没有照所写的守这节了。信差遵着王命，拿着王和众领袖所发的信，送达全以色列和犹大，说：“以色列人哪，当转向耶和华—亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神，好叫他转向你们这些脱离亚述诸王之手的余民。不要效法你们的祖先和你们的弟兄；他们干犯耶和华—他们列祖的神，以致耶和华使他们令人惊骇，正如你们所见的。现在，不要像你们祖先硬着颈项，只要归顺耶和华，进入他的圣所，就是永远成圣的居所，又要事奉耶和华—你们的神，好使他的烈怒转离你们。你们若转向耶和华，你们的弟兄和儿女必在掳掠他们的人面前蒙怜悯，得以归回这地，因为耶和华—你们的神有恩惠，有怜悯。你们若转向他，他必不会转脸不顾你们。”信差从这城跑到那城，传遍了以法莲和玛拿西之地，直到西布伦；那里的人却戏笑他们，讥诮他们。然而亚设、玛拿西、西布伦中也有人谦卑自己，来到耶路撒冷。神也按手在犹大人身上，使他们一心遵行王与众领袖照着耶和华的话所发的命令。二月时，许多百姓聚集在耶路撒冷，成为一个盛大的会，要守除酵节。他们起来，把耶路撒冷的祭坛和烧香的坛尽都除去，扔在汲沦溪中。二月十四日，他们宰了逾越节的羔羊。祭司与利未人觉得惭愧，就使自己分别为圣，把燔祭奉到耶和华的殿中。

“你们要以本月为正月，为一年之首。你们要吩咐以色列全会众说：本月初十，各人要按着家庭取羔羊，一家一只羔羊。若一家的人太少，吃不了一只羔羊，就要按照人数和隔壁的邻舍共取一只；你们要按每人的食量来估算羔羊。你们要从绵羊或山羊中取一只无残疾、一岁的公羔羊，要把它留到本月十四日；那日黄昏的时候，以色列全会众要把羔羊宰了。他们要取一些血，涂在他们吃羔羊的房屋两边的门框上和门楣上。当晚要吃羔羊的肉；要用火烤了，与无酵饼和苦菜一起吃。不可吃生的，或用水煮的，要把羔羊连头带腿和内脏用火烤了吃。一点也不可留到早晨；若有留到早晨的，要用火烧了。你们要这样吃羔羊：腰间束带，脚上穿鞋，手中拿杖，快快地吃。这是耶和华的逾越。因为那夜我要走遍埃及地，把埃及地一切头生的，无论是人是牲畜，都击杀了；我要对埃及所有的神明施行审判。我是耶和华。这血要在你们所住的房屋上作记号；我一见这血，就逾越你们。我击打埃及地的时候，灾殃必不临到你们身上施行毁灭。”“你们要记念这日，世世代代守这日为耶和华的节日，作为你们永远的定例。

耶和华对摩西和亚伦说：“逾越节的条例是这样：外邦人不可吃这羔羊。但是你们用银子买来，又受过割礼的奴仆可以吃。寄居的和雇工都不可吃。应当在一个屋子里吃，不可把肉带到屋外，骨头一根也不可折断。以色列全会众都要守这礼仪。若有外人寄居在你那里，要向耶和华守逾越节，他所有的男子务要先受割礼，然后才可以当他是本地人，容许他守这礼仪。但未受割礼的都不可吃这羔羊。本地人和寄居在你们中间的外人当守同一个条例。”

这些事发生，为要应验经上的话：“他的骨头一根也不可折断。”

这祭牲不可和有酵的东西一起吃。因为你曾匆忙离开埃及地，你要吃无酵饼，就是困苦饼七日，好让你一生的年日记得你从埃及地出来的那一日。

你们要在本月十四日黄昏的时候，在所定的日期守这节，按照一切的律例典章守节。”
