To purify them, do this: Sprinkle the water of cleansing on them; then have them shave their whole bodies and wash their clothes. And so they will purify themselves.

Here is how to make them pure. Sprinkle the special water on them. Then have them shave their whole bodies. Also have them wash their clothes. That is how they will make themselves pure.

Thus you shall do to them to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of purification upon them, and let them go with a razor over all their body, and wash their clothes and cleanse themselves.

後必洗滌列邦、君王必因之緘口無詞、蓋素未述於彼者、彼將見之、彼素未聞者、彼將悟之、

用以灑於患癩而得潔者之身七次而潔之、以生鳥縱於田野、得潔者當滌其衣、盡薙其毫髮、以水濯身乃為潔、方可入營、但仍居己幕外七日、至第七日、再薙所有之毫髮、髮鬚與眉及全體之毫、皆當薙之、當滌其衣、以水濯身而後成潔、

主諭摩西曰、爾往就民、使之今日明日潔己滌衣、

俱為世俗世俗原文作肉體之儀文、與飲食及諸盥濯之規例、皆設立至振興之時乃止者也、

若牛羊之血、與焚化牝犢之灰、灑於不潔者、能潔其身、

雅各命家人與從者云、當棄爾中所有異邦之神像、自潔更衣、

洗禮為其影像、因耶穌基督之復活、今亦救我儕、非在去肉體之垢穢、乃在求無虧之良心於天主前、
