To purify them, do this: Sprinkle the water of cleansing on them; then have them shave their whole bodies and wash their clothes. And so they will purify themselves.

Here is how to make them pure. Sprinkle the special water on them. Then have them shave their whole bodies. Also have them wash their clothes. That is how they will make themselves pure.

Thus you shall do to them to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of purification upon them, and let them go with a razor over all their body, and wash their clothes and cleanse themselves.

當為不潔者、取所焚贖罪祭之灰、置於器中、加以活水、必潔者一人、浸牛膝草於水中、灑幕與其諸器、及在幕中之眾、與捫見殺者自斃者之尸、捫骨捫塚者、三日及七日、潔者必灑不潔者、至七日、使之成潔、其人澣衣濯身、迨夕乃潔、

必使多民愕然而興起、君王因之而箝口、未示之者、必得觀之、未聞之者、必得悟之、

以灑患癩欲潔者凡七、而謂其為潔、乃縱生禽於野、欲潔之人、必澣衣薙髮、以水濯身、得以成潔、後可入營、惟居己幕之外、歷至七日、屆期、毫髮鬚眉、薙之務盡、澣衣濯身、而後成潔、

耶和華曰、汝詣於民、使今日明日、潔己濯衣、

夫禮也祭也、以及飲食盥濯、僅為形軀之儀、其設立也、乃待振興之時耳、○

對曰、我主乎、爾自知之、曰、此乃出乎大難而來、曾以羔之血滌其衣而白之矣、

祭司當澣衣濯身、而後入營、其蒙不潔、迨夕乃免、焚犢者當澣衣濯身、其蒙不潔、迨夕乃免、潔者必取犢灰、置於營外潔地、和為去污之水、為以色列族存之、此亦贖罪之祭也、取犢灰者、當澣厥衣、其蒙不潔、迨夕乃免、此乃以色列族、及旅於其中者之永例也、

若牛羊之血與牝犢灰、灑於不潔者、尚能聖之、致形軀得潔、

雅各命家人與從者曰、當除爾中異邦神像、潔己更衣、

今之洗禮、乃其影像、以救爾曹、非去形軀之污、惟求無虧之良於上帝前、乃因耶穌基督之復起也、
