利未人中有亞希雅管理上帝殿的庫房和聖物的庫房。拉但子孫中，革順族屬拉但、作族長的是革順族屬拉但的耶希伊利。耶希伊利的兒子西坦和他兄弟約珥管理耶和華殿的庫房。暗蘭人、以斯哈人、希伯倫人、烏薛人也有職務。摩西的孫子，革舜的兒子細布業管理庫房。還有他的弟兄：以利以謝，以利以謝的兒子利哈比雅，利哈比雅的兒子耶篩亞，耶篩亞的兒子約蘭，約蘭的兒子細基利，細基利的兒子示羅密。這示羅密和他的兄弟管理一切庫房的聖物，就是大衛王和眾族長、千夫長、百夫長，以及軍官所分別為聖之物。他們把打仗時奪取的一些財物分別為聖，用來修造耶和華的殿。凡撒母耳先見、基士的兒子掃羅、尼珥的兒子押尼珥、洗魯雅的兒子約押分別為聖的，一切分別為聖之物都歸示羅密和他的兄弟掌管。以斯哈人有基拿尼雅和他眾兒子作官長和審判官，管理以色列對外的事務。

你們未盡看守我聖物的職責，竟派別人在我的聖所替你們盡看守之責。

他們照管會幕和聖所，服事他們的弟兄亞倫的子孫，辦理耶和華殿的事務。

他們要與你聯合，負責看守會幕和帳幕一切的事；只是外人不可挨近你們。
