利未人中有亚希雅管理神殿的库房和圣物的库房。拉但子孙中，革顺族属拉但、作族长的是革顺族属拉但的耶希伊利。耶希伊利的儿子西坦和他兄弟约珥管理耶和华殿的库房。暗兰人、以斯哈人、希伯伦人、乌薛人也有职务。摩西的孙子，革舜的儿子细布业管理库房。还有他的弟兄：以利以谢，以利以谢的儿子利哈比雅，利哈比雅的儿子耶筛亚，耶筛亚的儿子约兰，约兰的儿子细基利，细基利的儿子示罗密。这示罗密和他的兄弟管理一切库房的圣物，就是大卫王和众族长、千夫长、百夫长，以及军官所分别为圣之物。他们把打仗时夺取的一些财物分别为圣，用来修造耶和华的殿。凡撒母耳先见、基士的儿子扫罗、尼珥的儿子押尼珥、洗鲁雅的儿子约押分别为圣的，一切分别为圣之物都归示罗密和他的兄弟掌管。以斯哈人有基拿尼雅和他众儿子作官长和审判官，管理以色列对外的事务。

你们未尽看守我圣物的职责，竟派别人在我的圣所替你们尽看守之责。

他们照管会幕和圣所，服事他们的弟兄亚伦的子孙，办理耶和华殿的事务。

他们要与你联合，负责看守会幕和帐幕一切的事；只是外人不可挨近你们。
