“ This applies to the Levites: Men twenty-five years old or more shall come to take part in the work at the tent of meeting,

“ Here is what the Levites must do. Men 25 years old or more must come and take part in the work at the tent of meeting.

“ This applies to the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall come to do duty in the service of the tent of meeting.

“ This is the rule the Levites must follow: They must begin serving in the Tabernacle at the age of twenty five,

“ In regard to the Levites: From twenty-five years old or more, a man enters the service in the work at the tent of meeting.

“ This is what applies to the Levites: from twenty five years old and upward they shall enter to perform service in the work of the tent of meeting.

“ This is what pertains to the Levites: From twenty-five years old and above one may enter to perform service in the work of the tabernacle of meeting;

This is that which belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service in the work of the tent of meeting:

“ In regard to the Levites: From 25 years old or more, a man enters the service in the work at the tent of meeting.

This[ is it] that[ belongeth] unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:

“ This is what pertains to the Levites: At the age of twenty-five years and upward one may begin to join the company in the work of the tent of meeting,

“ This is what is assigned to the Levites: from twenty- five years old and upward they shall go in to wait on the service in the work of the Tent of Meeting;

Count all the men from thirty to fifty years of age who come to serve in the work at the tent of meeting. (niv)

The Levites thirty years old or more were counted, and the total number of men was thirty-eight thousand. (niv)

Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat its grapes? Who tends a flock and does not drink the milk? (niv)

He gave him the plans of all that the Spirit had put in his mind for the courts of the temple of the Lord and all the surrounding rooms, for the treasuries of the temple of God and for the treasuries for the dedicated things.He gave him instructions for the divisions of the priests and Levites, and for all the work of serving in the temple of the Lord, as well as for all the articles to be used in its service. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. (niv)

Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer.Similarly, anyone who competes as an athlete does not receive the victor’s crown except by competing according to the rules. These were the descendants of Levi by their families— the heads of families as they were registered under their names and counted individually, that is, the workers twenty years old or more who served in the temple of the Lord.For David had said,“ Since the Lord, the God of Israel, has granted rest to his people and has come to dwell in Jerusalem forever,the Levites no longer need to carry the tabernacle or any of the articles used in its service.”According to the last instructions of David, the Levites were counted from those twenty years old or more.
