人應該遵循耶和華的訓誨和法度。人若不遵循祂的話，必看不到曙光。

那照亮世人的真光來到了世上。

你所看見在我右手中的七顆星和七個金燈臺的奧祕是，七顆星代表七間教會的天使，七個燈臺代表七間教會。「你要寫信告訴以弗所教會的天使，那位右手拿著七顆星、往來於七個金燈臺中间的主說，

耶和華對摩西說：「你要吩咐以色列人給你拿來純橄欖油，作點燈之用，使燈常常亮著。

從寶座中有閃電、響聲、雷鳴發出，寶座前面燃燒著七把火炬，代表上帝的七靈。

燈臺兩邊各伸出三個分枝，共有六個分枝。每個分枝都伸出三個杏花形狀、有花瓣和花苞的油杯，六個分枝都是這樣。

亞倫要常常照看這些放在純金燈臺上的燈。

我轉身看究竟是誰在對我說話，我看見七個金燈臺，

你們是世上的光，如同建在山上的城一樣無法隱藏。

你的話語一解明，就發出亮光，使愚人得到啟迪。

你的話是我腳前的燈，是我路上的光。

這使我們更加確信先知的預言。你們要留意這些預言，把這些預言看作照耀在黑暗中的明燈，一直到天破曉、晨星在你們心中升起。

他又用純金為這座燈臺造了七個燈盞，以及燈剪和燈花盤。
