Every firstborn male in Israel, whether human or animal, is mine. When I struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, I set them apart for myself.

Every male born first in Israel belongs to me. That is true whether it is a human or an animal. In Egypt I struck down all the males born first to their mothers. Then I set apart for myself all the males born first in Israel.

For all the firstborn among the people of Israel are mine, both of man and of beast. On the day that I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I consecrated them for myself,

則必以初胎男子、首生牡畜、獻於耶和華。首生之驢、必以羔代、否則折其頸。初胎男子、必以金贖。厥後若爾子孫詰爾、行此曷故、爾宜告之、耶和華以大能導我出埃及、脫我於賤役、法老剛愎厥心、不釋我出境、耶和華遍戮埃及人之初胎男子、首生牡畜、故我以首生牡畜、獻祭耶和華、其初胎男子、則以金贖。

況父以之為聖、遣入世者、自謂上帝子、僭妄云乎哉、

亦立我安息日、於我及彼之間為徵、俾知我乃耶和華、使之成聖。

在於埃及、人之初生、畜之首出、咸殺戮之兮、

摩西有信、守逾越節、用灑血禮、恐殘賊埃及之長子、波及以色列、

中夜耶和華遍行埃及、自居位之法老、至獄中之罪犯、凡其長子、及群畜首生者、無不被擊。

我必使會幕祭壇、皭然成聖、亞倫及其子、亦成聖、任為祭司、以奉事我。

首生牡畜、無論牛羊、本歸於我、不得再獻、供我役事。

昔在埃及、我戮其地諸冢子時、取以色列族初胎之男、首生之畜、使獻於我、故凡初胎與首生者、悉歸於我、我耶和華所命如是。○

自行己志、以真道生我、為億兆首宗主之人、

我為彼作聖、使彼以真理作聖、○

父力方剛、初生男子、為主所擊、通國靡遺兮、

在埃及通國、初胎之男子被擊、在含帷幕、首生之牲畜俱亡兮。

如人許宅、供我役事、祭司必估其價、或美或惡、遵其所命、以為定例、如欲贖之、必於所估之價、加五分之一、宅則歸己。

況蹂躪上帝子、以贖己之約之血為不潔、狎侮施恩之聖神、爾意其人受刑、當如何重哉、
