耶和華曉諭摩西說：「你告訴以色列人當為我送禮物來；凡甘心樂意的，你們就可以收下歸我。所要收的禮物：就是金、銀、銅，藍色、紫色、朱紅色線，細麻，山羊毛，染紅的公羊皮，海狗皮，皂莢木，點燈的油並做膏油和香的香料，紅瑪瑙與別樣的寶石，可以鑲嵌在以弗得和胸牌上。又當為我造聖所，使我可以住在他們中間。製造帳幕和其中的一切器具都要照我所指示你的樣式。」「要用皂莢木做一櫃，長二肘半，寬一肘半，高一肘半。要裏外包上精金，四圍鑲上金牙邊。

我的心哪，你曾對耶和華說：你是我的主；我的好處不在你以外。論到世上的聖民，他們又美又善，是我最喜悅的。

這話是可信的。我也願你把這些事切切實實地講明，使那些已信神的人留心做正經事業。這都是美事，並且與人有益。

他所賜的，有使徒，有先知，有傳福音的，有牧師和教師，為要成全聖徒，各盡其職，建立基督的身體，直等到我們眾人在真道上同歸於一，認識神的兒子，得以長大成人，滿有基督長成的身量，

看哪，我的僕人－我所扶持所揀選、心裏所喜悅的！我已將我的靈賜給他；他必將公理傳給外邦。他不喧嚷，不揚聲，也不使街上聽見他的聲音。壓傷的蘆葦，他不折斷；將殘的燈火，他不吹滅。他憑真實將公理傳開。他不灰心，也不喪膽，直到他在地上設立公理；海島都等候他的訓誨。創造諸天，鋪張穹蒼，將地和地所出的一併鋪開，賜氣息給地上的眾人，又賜靈性給行在其上之人的神耶和華，他如此說：我－耶和華憑公義召你，必攙扶你的手，保守你，使你作眾民的中保，作外邦人的光，開瞎子的眼，領被囚的出牢獄，領坐黑暗的出監牢。

眾海島啊，當聽我言！遠方的眾民哪，留心而聽！自我出胎，耶和華就選召我；自出母腹，他就提我的名。他使我的口如快刀，將我藏在他手蔭之下；又使我成為磨亮的箭，將我藏在他箭袋之中；對我說：你是我的僕人以色列；我必因你得榮耀。我卻說：我勞碌是徒然；我盡力是虛無虛空。然而，我當得的理必在耶和華那裏；我的賞賜必在我神那裏。耶和華從我出胎，造就我作他的僕人，要使雅各歸向他，使以色列到他那裏聚集。原來耶和華看我為尊貴；我的神也成為我的力量。現在他說：你作我的僕人，使雅各眾支派復興，使以色列中得保全的歸回尚為小事，我還要使你作外邦人的光，叫你施行我的救恩，直到地極。救贖主－以色列的聖者耶和華對那被人所藐視、本國所憎惡、官長所虐待的如此說：君王要看見就站起，首領也要下拜；都因信實的耶和華，就是揀選你－以色列的聖者。耶和華如此說：在悅納的時候，我應允了你；在拯救的日子，我濟助了你。我要保護你，使你作眾民的中保；復興遍地，使人承受荒涼之地為業。
