我对耶和华说：“你是我的主，我美好的一切都从你而来。”世上敬畏你的人极其尊贵，是我所喜爱的。

以上这些话是可信的，希望你认真教导，使信上帝的人专心行善。这都是造福众人的美事。

祂赐恩让一些人做使徒，一些人做先知，一些人做传福音的，一些人做牧师和教师，为要装备信徒，使他们各尽其职，建立基督的身体，直到我们对上帝的儿子有一致的信仰和认识，逐渐成熟，达到基督那样完美的生命。

“看啊，我所扶持、所拣选、所喜悦的仆人，我已将我的灵赐给祂，祂必将正义带给万邦。祂不喧嚷，不呼喊，不在街上高声说话。压伤的芦苇，祂不折断；将残的灯火，祂不吹灭。祂必信实地带来正义。祂不灰心也不沮丧，直到祂在地上设立正义。四海都渴望祂的训诲。”创造诸天、铺展穹苍、设立大地和地上的一切、赐给世人生命气息和灵性的耶和华上帝说：“我耶和华凭公义呼召你，我必扶持你，保护你，使你做我与众民立约的中保、成为列国的光，使你开瞎子的眼睛、从监牢中释放囚犯、领出陷在黑暗中的人。

众海岛啊，听我说！远方的众民啊，要留心听！我还没有出生，耶和华就呼召我；我还没有离开母腹，祂就点我的名。祂使我的口像利剑，用祂的手护庇我；祂使我成为磨亮的箭，把我藏在祂的箭囊中。祂对我说：“以色列啊，你是我的仆人，我要借着你彰显我的荣耀。”但我说：“我虚耗精力，徒劳无功。然而，耶和华必公正地待我，我的报酬在我的上帝那里。”我在母腹之中，耶和华便塑造我做祂的仆人，叫我领雅各归向祂，把以色列人召集到祂那里。我在耶和华眼中是尊贵的，我的上帝是我的力量。祂对我说：“我不仅要你做我的仆人，去复兴雅各的众支派，使以色列的余民重归故土，我还要使你成为外族人的光，好把我的救恩带到地极。”以色列的救赎主和圣者——耶和华对受藐视、被本国人憎恨、遭官长奴役的那位说：“因为拣选你的以色列的圣者耶和华是信实的，君王必在你面前肃然起立，首领必在你面前俯伏下拜。”耶和华说：“在悦纳的时候，我应允了你；在拯救的日子，我帮助了你。我要保护你，使你做我跟民众立约的中保，复兴家园，分配荒凉的产业。
