He brought one gold dish that weighed four ounces. It was filled with incense.

And they made from pure gold the articles for the table— its plates and dishes and bowls and its pitchers for the pouring out of drink offerings.

They also took away the pots, shovels, wick trimmers, dishes and all the bronze articles used in the temple service.The commander of the imperial guard took away the censers and sprinkling bowls— all that were made of pure gold or silver.

“ Aaron must burn fragrant incense on the altar every morning when he tends the lamps.He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the Lord for the generations to come.

When they had finished, they brought the rest of the money to the king and Jehoiada, and with it were made articles for the Lord’s temple: articles for the service and for the burnt offerings, and also dishes and other objects of gold and silver. As long as Jehoiada lived, burnt offerings were presented continually in the temple of the Lord.

“ Over the table of the Presence they are to spread a blue cloth and put on it the plates, dishes and bowls, and the jars for drink offerings; the bread that is continually there is to remain on it.

It is to be salted and pure and sacred.Grind some of it to powder and place it in front of the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you. It shall be most holy to you.Do not make any incense with this formula for yourselves; consider it holy to the Lord.Whoever makes incense like it to enjoy its fragrance must be cut off from their people.”
