This is what you are to say to the Israelites:‘ I am has sent me to you.’”God also said to Moses,“ Say to the Israelites,‘ The Lord, the God of your fathers— the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob— has sent me to you.’“ This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation. Then the man said,“ Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.” (niv)

Jacob said,“ Please tell me your name.” But he replied,“ Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed him there. (niv)

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. (niv)
