“ Speak to the Israelites and say to them:‘ If a man or woman wants to make a special vow, a vow of dedication to the Lord as a Nazirite,

“ Say to the Israelites,‘ Suppose a man or woman wants to make a special promise. They want to set themselves apart to the Lord for a certain period of time. They want to be Nazirites.

“ Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When either a man or a woman makes a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself to the Lord,

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel.“ If any of the people, either men or women, take the special vow of a Nazirite, setting themselves apart to the Lord in a special way,

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When a man or woman makes a special vow, a Nazirite vow, to consecrate himself to the LORD,

“ Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them,‘ When a man or woman makes a special vow, namely, the vow of a Nazirite, to live as a Nazirite for the Lord,

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them:‘ When either a man or woman consecrates an offering to take the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself to the Lord,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall make a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself unto Jehovah,

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When a man or woman makes a special vow, a Nazirite vow, to consecrate himself to the Lord,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate[ themselves] to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate[ themselves] unto the LORD:

“ Speak to the Israelites, and tell them,‘ When either a man or a woman takes a special vow, to take a vow as a Nazirite, to separate himself to the LORD,

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them:‘ When either man or woman shall make a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself to Yahweh,

You will become pregnant and have a son whose head is never to be touched by a razor because the boy is to be a Nazirite, dedicated to God from the womb. He will take the lead in delivering Israel from the hands of the Philistines.” (niv)

“ I also raised up prophets from among your children and Nazirites from among your youths. Is this not true, people of Israel?” declares the Lord.“ But you made the Nazirites drink wine and commanded the prophets not to prophesy. (niv)

Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God— (niv)

for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born. (niv)

You are to be holy to me because I, the Lord, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own. (niv)

An unfriendly person pursues selfish ends and against all sound judgment starts quarrels. (niv)

So he told her everything.“ No razor has ever been used on my head,” he said,“ because I have been a Nazirite dedicated to God from my mother’s womb. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as any other man.” (niv)

But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased (niv)

Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself. (niv)

so do what we tell you. There are four men with us who have made a vow.Take these men, join in their purification rites and pay their expenses, so that they can have their heads shaved. Then everyone will know there is no truth in these reports about you, but that you yourself are living in obedience to the law. (niv)

“ Speak to the Israelites and say to them:‘ If anyone makes a special vow to dedicate a person to the Lord by giving the equivalent value, (niv)

How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?” (niv)

What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:“ I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” (niv)

“‘ During the entire period of their Nazirite vow, no razor may be used on their head. They must be holy until the period of their dedication to the Lord is over; they must let their hair grow long.“‘ Throughout the period of their dedication to the Lord, the Nazirite must not go near a dead body. (niv)

So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there. (niv)
