“你把以下条例告诉以色列人。“无论男女，若损害别人就是不忠于耶和华，就是犯罪。

爾告以色列人云、如男女犯人所常犯之罪、干主而陷於罪愆、

“ Say to the Israelites:‘ Any man or woman who wrongs another in any way and so is unfaithful to the Lord is guilty

“ Speak to the Israelites. Say to them,‘ Suppose a man or woman does something wrong to someone else. Then that person is not being faithful to the Lord. People like that are guilty.

“ Speak to the people of Israel, When a man or woman commits any of the sins that people commit by breaking faith with the Lord, and that person realizes his guilt,

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel: If any of the people— men or women— betray the Lord by doing wrong to another person, they are guilty.

“ Tell the Israelites: When a man or woman commits any sin against another, that person acts unfaithfully toward the LORD and is guilty.

“ Speak to the sons of Israel:‘ When a man or woman commits any of the sins of mankind, acting unfaithfully against the Lord, and that person is guilty,

“ Speak to the children of Israel:‘ When a man or woman commits any sin that men commit in unfaithfulness against the Lord, and that person is guilty,

Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, so as to trespass against Jehovah, and that soul shall be guilty;

“ Tell the Israelites: When a man or woman commits any sin against another, that person acts unfaithfully toward the Lord and is guilty.

Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;

“ Tell the Israelites,‘ When a man or a woman commits any sin that people commit, thereby breaking faith with the LORD, and that person is found guilty,

“ Speak to the children of Israel:‘ When a man or woman commits any sin that men commit, so as to trespass against Yahweh, and that soul is guilty,

耶和華對摩西說：“如果有人在耶和華的聖物上不忠實，無意犯了罪，他就要依照你按著聖所衡量銀子標準所估的銀價，把他的贖愆祭牲，就是羊群中一隻沒有殘疾的公綿羊，牽到耶和華面前作贖愆祭。他要補償他在聖物上所虧欠的，另加五分之一，交給祭司；祭司要用贖愆祭的公綿羊為他贖罪，他就蒙赦免。“如果有人犯了罪，行了一件耶和華吩咐不可行的事；他雖然不清楚，仍是有罪，他就要擔當自己的罪責。他要依照你的估價，從羊群中把一隻沒有殘疾的公綿羊牽來，給祭司作贖愆祭。祭司為他贖罪，那不清楚的無心之失，就蒙赦免。這是贖愆祭，他在耶和華面前實在有罪。”耶和華對摩西說：“如果有人犯罪，對耶和華不忠實，在人寄存給他的物上或抵押品上欺騙自己的同伴，或是搶奪，或是欺壓自己的同胞，或是拾去人遺失的東西，卻欺騙人，起假誓，行了任何一件人常犯的罪，他犯了罪，有了罪，就應歸還他所搶奪的，或是欺壓得來的，或是別人寄存在他那裡的，或是他拾去的失物，或是他因起假誓所得的任何東西；在賠過的時候，他除了按原數償還外，必須另外加上五分之一，交給原主；還要照著你的估價，把贖愆祭牲，就是從羊群中取一隻沒有殘疾的公綿羊，牽到耶和華面前，給祭司作贖愆祭。祭司在耶和華面前，為他所行的任何一件過失贖罪，他就蒙赦免。”（本章第1~7節在《馬索拉文本》為5:20~26）

“如果有人犯罪：他聽見發誓的聲音（“發誓的聲音”或譯：“傳召作證的聲音”，或“發咒語的聲音”）；他本是證人，卻不肯把看見或知道的說出來，他就要擔當自己的罪責。或人摸了甚麼不潔淨的東西，無論是不潔淨野獸的屍體，或是不潔淨牲畜的屍體，或是不潔淨昆蟲的屍體，當時並不留意，他因為成了不潔淨，就有罪了；或有人摸了人的污穢，他沒有留意沾染了甚麼污穢；他一知道，就有罪了。或有人嘴唇輕率發誓，無論是出於惡意或是出於好意，他沒有留意起了甚麼誓；他一知道，就有罪了。
