此乃治婦背夫行不正玷污其身、致夫懷疑之例、

“‘ This, then, is the law of jealousy when a woman goes astray and makes herself impure while married to her husband,

祭司要叫婦人起誓，對她說：『若沒有人與你同寢，若你未曾背着丈夫做污穢的事，你就能免去這致詛咒的苦水。

「你要吩咐以色列人，對他們說：若任何人的妻子背離婦道，對丈夫不貞，

這就是衣服發霉的條例。無論是羊毛衣服，麻布衣服，或是經線、緯線，或任何皮製的物件，都按照這條例宣佈為潔淨或不潔淨。

這人要帶妻子到祭司那裏，同時為她帶十分之一伊法大麥麵粉作供物。不可澆上油，也不可加乳香，因為這是疑忌的素祭，是紀念的素祭，使人記得罪孽。

「獻給耶和華平安祭的條例是這樣：

這是走獸、飛鳥、水中一切游動的生物和地上一切爬行的動物的條例，

萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列家；他所喜愛的樹就是猶大人。他指望公平，看哪，卻有流血；指望公義，看哪，卻有冤聲。禍哉！你們以房接房，以地連地，以致不留餘地，只顧自己獨居境內。

這條例是為漏症患者或遺精而不潔淨者，女人經期的不潔，男女患漏症，以及男人與不潔淨女人同寢而立的。

這條例是為痲瘋災病和疥瘡，衣服和房屋發霉，以及皮膚腫脹、發疹、有斑點等，用以分辨何時潔淨，何時不潔淨。這是痲瘋病的條例。
