If she has made herself impure and been unfaithful to her husband, this will be the result: When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry, and she will become a curse.

Suppose she has made herself“ unclean.” She has not been faithful to her husband. And she has drunk the water that brings a curse. Then it will go into her body. It will cause her to suffer bitterly. It will make her body unable to have children. She will become a curse.

And when he has made her drink the water, then, if she has defiled herself and has broken faith with her husband, the water that brings the curse shall enter into her and cause bitter pain, and her womb shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away, and the woman shall become a curse among her people.

If she has defiled herself by being unfaithful to her husband, the water that brings on the curse will cause bitter suffering. Her abdomen will swell and her womb will shrink, and her name will become a curse among her people.

我必用刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫追赶他们，使地上万国因他们而惊骇；在我赶他们到的各国，令人诅咒、惊骇、嗤笑、羞辱。

“万军之耶和华—以色列的上帝如此说：‘我怎样将我的怒气和愤怒倾倒在耶路撒冷的居民身上，你们进入埃及的时候，我也必照样将我的愤怒倾倒在你们身上，以致你们受辱骂、惊骇、诅咒、羞辱，并且不得再看见这地方。’

犹大家和以色列家啊，你们从前在列国中怎样成为可诅咒的；照样，我要拯救你们，使你们得福。不要惧怕，你们的手要坚强。

我必使那定意进入埃及地、在那里寄居的，就是幸存的犹大人，尽都灭绝。他们必在埃及地仆倒，因刀剑饥荒灭绝，从最小的到最大的都必遭刀剑饥荒而死，甚至受辱骂、惊骇、诅咒、羞辱。

在巴比伦所有被掳的犹大人必藉这二人赌咒说：愿耶和华使你像巴比伦王在火中焚烧的西底家和亚哈一样。

你们必留下自己的名给我选民指着赌咒：主耶和华必杀你们，另起别名称呼他的仆人。

你在耶和华赶你到的万民中，要令人惊骇，成为笑柄，被人讥诮。

我必使他们在地上万国中成为恐惧，成为灾祸，在我赶逐他们到的各处成为凌辱、笑柄、讥笑、诅咒的对象。

我发现有一种妇人比死还苦毒：她本身是陷阱，她的心是罗网，手是锁链。凡蒙上帝喜爱的人必能躲开她；有罪的人却被她缠住了。

求你待他们，如待米甸，如在基顺河待西西拉和耶宾一样。他们在隐‧多珥灭亡，成了地上的粪土。求你使他们的贵族像俄立和西伊伯，使他们的王子都像西巴和撒慕拿。

但你背着丈夫，玷污自己，跟丈夫以外的人同寝。’

如果我们领受真理的知识以后仍故意犯罪，就不再有赎罪的祭物，惟有战战兢兢等候审判和那将吞灭众敌人的烈火了。任何人干犯摩西的律法，凭两个或三个证人，尚且必须处死，不得宽赦，更何况践踏上帝儿子的人，他们将那使他成圣之约的血当作不洁净，又亵慢施恩的圣灵的人，你们想，他不该受更严厉的惩罚吗？因为我们知道谁说：“伸冤在我，我必报应。”又说：“主要审判他的百姓。”

那么，你们现在所看为羞耻的事，当时有什么果子呢？那些事的结局就是死。

对灭亡的人，这是死而又死的气味；对得救的人，这是生而又生的气味。这些事谁能当得起呢？

尤其那些随从肉体、放纵污秽的情欲、藐视主的权威的人更是如此。他们胆大任性，无惧地毁谤众尊荣者；

后来却苦似茵陈，锐利如两刃的剑。她的脚坠落死亡，她的脚步踏入阴间，她无法找到生命的道路，她的路变迁不定，自己却不知道。孩子们，现在要听从我，不可离弃我口中的言语。你所行的道要远离她，不可靠近她家的门口，免得将你的尊荣给别人，将你的岁月给残忍的人；免得陌生人满得你的财富，你劳苦所得的归入外邦人的家。在你人生终结，你皮肉和身体衰残时，你必唉声叹气，
