If she has made herself impure and been unfaithful to her husband, this will be the result: When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry, and she will become a curse.

Suppose she has made herself“ unclean.” She has not been faithful to her husband. And she has drunk the water that brings a curse. Then it will go into her body. It will cause her to suffer bitterly. It will make her body unable to have children. She will become a curse.

And when he has made her drink the water, then, if she has defiled herself and has broken faith with her husband, the water that brings the curse shall enter into her and cause bitter pain, and her womb shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away, and the woman shall become a curse among her people.

And it will come about that just as you were a curse among the nations, house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you that you may become a blessing. Do not fear; let your hands be strong.’

And I will take away the remnant of Judah who have set their minds on entering the land of Egypt to reside there, and they will all meet their end in the land of Egypt; they will fall by the sword or meet their end by famine. From the small to the great, they will die by the sword and famine; and they will become a curse, an object of horror, an imprecation, and a disgrace.

Because of them a curse will be used by all the exiles from Judah who are in Babylon, saying,‘ May the Lord make you like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire,’

You will leave your name as a curse to My chosen ones, And the Lord God will put you to death. But My servants will be called by another name.

And you will become an object of horror, a song of mockery, and an object of taunting among all the peoples where the Lord drives you.

I will make them an object of terror and an evil for all the kingdoms of the earth, as a disgrace and a proverb, a taunt and a curse in all the places where I will scatter them.

For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries.Anyone who has ignored the Law of Moses is put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.How much more severe punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?For we know Him who said,“ Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.” And again,“ The Lord will judge His people.”

Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death.

to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things?

and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt passion, and despise authority. Reckless, self centered, they speak abusively of angelic majesties without trembling,

But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two edged sword.Her feet go down to death, Her steps take hold of Sheol.She does not ponder the path of life; Her ways are unstable, she does not know it.Now then, my sons, listen to me And do not turn away from the words of my mouth.Keep your way far from her, And do not go near the door of her house,Otherwise you will give your vigor to others, And your years to the cruel one;And strangers will be filled with your strength, And your hard earned possessions will go to the house of a foreigner;And you will groan in the end, When your flesh and your body are consumed;
