If she has made herself impure and been unfaithful to her husband, this will be the result: When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry, and she will become a curse.

Suppose she has made herself“ unclean.” She has not been faithful to her husband. And she has drunk the water that brings a curse. Then it will go into her body. It will cause her to suffer bitterly. It will make her body unable to have children. She will become a curse.

And when he has made her drink the water, then, if she has defiled herself and has broken faith with her husband, the water that brings the curse shall enter into her and cause bitter pain, and her womb shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away, and the woman shall become a curse among her people.

If she has defiled herself by being unfaithful to her husband, the water that brings on the curse will cause bitter suffering. Her abdomen will swell and her womb will shrink, and her name will become a curse among her people.

猶大被虜之眾、在巴比倫者、必以之為詛曰、願耶和華使爾若西底家亞哈、為巴比倫王炙之以火、

必遺爾名、為我選民藉以呪詛、主耶和華將翦滅爾、命其臣僕以新名、

於耶和華徙爾所至之國、必為人所駭異、作諺語及話柄、

我必付之於敵、播散於天下萬國、俾遭禍害、在我驅至之處、受凌辱、為話柄、被訕笑、服呪詛、

察知有婦、心為罟擭、手為繩索、較死尤苦、上帝所悅者、得以避之、惟罪人為其所陷、

爾其懲之、如待米甸、如在基順河、待西西拉與耶賓兮、皆亡於隱多珥、為地上糞土兮、使其顯者、如俄立西伊伯、使其牧伯、如西巴撒慕拿兮、

如爾背夫而行穢事、有私於人、為人所玷、

我儕既識真理、而故干罪、則無復有贖罪之祭、惟戰慄待鞫、及滅諸敵之烈火耳、拒摩西之律者、有二三人為證、其死無恤、況踐踏上帝子、以所由成聖之約血為俗、且狎侮施恩之神、爾意若人受刑、其重為何如乎、蓋曰、伸冤在我、我必報之、又曰、主必鞫其民、此誰所言、我儕固知之矣、

昔之所行、今日恥之、其效維何、終則死亡、

於此為由死致死之臭味、於彼為由生致生之臭味、孰堪任此乎、

彼狥形軀、縱污慾、輕視執政為尤甚、乃果敢自恃、謗讟尊榮、而不戰慄、

終則苦若茵陳、利如刀劍、其足下及死域、其步臨於陰府、生命坦途、彼不之得、其徑靡常、彼不自知、諸子宜聽、勿違我口所言、爾行宜遠之、勿近其室門、免爾尊榮畀他人、歲月供殘暴、資財充於外人、辛勞歸於他家、終則形銷體敗、難免咨嗟、
