我見死者尊與卑均立座前、諸書遂展、又有他書展焉、即維生之書也、死者依其行、如書所載而被鞫、

我抹爾愆、若散密雲、我塗爾罪、如消陰霧、爾其歸我、蓋我贖爾、

願有人聽我辨白、我署押於此、全能者可答之、願得我敵所書之詞、

惟我為己之故、塗抹爾愆、不念爾罪、

故爾當改悔而轉移、令罪塗抹、俾安舒之日自主而來、

耶和華諭摩西曰、我將塗亞瑪力之誌於天下、當筆之於簡、誦之於約書亞耳、

上帝歟、依爾恩惠憫我躬、循爾鴻慈塗我過兮、

耶和華云、我必降災於此處、及其居民、即讀於猶大王前之書、所載諸詛、

我保羅手書問爾安、有不愛主者、其見詛哉、我主臨矣、

又以論巴比倫必遘之災、筆之於書、耶利米語西萊亞曰、爾至巴比倫、務誦是言、且曰、耶和華歟、爾言必滅斯土、使無居民、人畜俱泯、永為荒蕪、誦書既竟、則繫書於石、投諸伯拉河中、曰、巴比倫因耶和華所降之災、必如是沈淪、不得復起、其力憊矣、耶利米之言、至是而止、

故當作歌、教以色列人、使其口誦、以為之證、

掩面勿視我罪、塗我諸愆兮、
