正如我們一個身體有很多部分，而且各部分都有不同的功用；照樣，我們這許多人，在基督裡是一個身體，而且各個部分都彼此相屬。照著所賜給我們的恩典，我們各有不同的恩賜：如果是做先知傳道的恩賜，就按照信心的程度用它；如果是服事的，就用在服事上；如果是教導的，就用在教導上；如果是勸勉的，就用在勸勉上；分享的，要慷慨；帶領的，要殷勤；憐憫人的，要甘心樂意。

耶和華的靈必停留在那一位身上，就是智慧和悟性的靈，謀略和大能的靈，知識和敬畏耶和華的靈。他以敬畏耶和華為樂，審斷不憑眼見，裁決不憑耳聞。他必以公義審斷貧弱者，以正直裁決世上的卑微人；以口中的杖擊打世界，以嘴裡的氣殺死惡人。

「看哪，我的僕人——我所扶持、我所揀選、我心所喜悅的！我已經把我的靈賜給他，他必給列國帶來公正。他不喧嚷，不揚聲，也不使人在街上聽見他的聲音。壓傷的蘆葦，他不折斷；將殘的燈火，他不熄滅。他憑著信實帶來公正。他不衰殘，也不被壓服，直到他在地上設立公正；眾海島都期盼他的律法。」神耶和華創造諸天，展開穹蒼，鋪張地和地所出的一切，又把氣息賜給地上的眾人，把靈賜給行在其中的人——神耶和華如此說：「我耶和華以公義召喚了你，我必緊拉著你的手，守護你。我要立你作萬民之約，作列國之光，為要開瞎眼之人的眼，領被囚的出監獄，領坐在黑暗中的出牢房。
