『你要作一座壇做燒香的地方，用皂莢木來作。這壇要四方的：長要一肘，寬一肘，高二肘；壇的四角要和壇接連一塊。你要用淨金包它，它的頂、它四圍的邊和它的角都要包；四圍要給它作金牙邊。你要給它作兩個金環，作在牙邊以下、它的兩旁面、就是它的兩邊；這兩個環要做穿杠的所在、用來抬壇。你要用皂莢木作兩根杠，用金包它。要把壇放在帷帳前面、對着裏面的法櫃、在法櫃上的除罪蓋前面；那蓋就是我要和你相會的地方。亞倫要燒芬芳的香在壇上：早晨修整燈的時候、他要燒這香；傍晚時分、亞倫點燈的時候，他也要燒這香，做你們在永恆主面前代代不斷的香。在這壇上你們不可獻上平常香或燔祭或素祭，也不可灌上奠祭。亞倫一年一次要在壇的四角上行除罪染的禮；他一年一次要用除罪禮上之解罪祭牲的血為壇除罪染；代代都要如此：這壇是獻與永恆主為至聖的。』永恆主告訴摩西說：『你要按以色列人有資格被點閱的登記人數；你給他們點閱的時候、他們各人要為自己的性命將贖價奉給永恆主，免得你給他們點閱的時候、他們中間有疫病。以下這一點錢是他們所要給的：凡按次序走過去而屬於那些有資格被點閱的人、每人要按聖所的平獻銀子半舍客勒；這半舍客勒是奉給永恆主的提獻物：一舍客勒是二十季拉。凡按次序走過去而屬於那些有資格被點閱的人、從二十歲和以上的、要將這提獻物奉給永恆主。要為你們的性命將提獻物奉給永恆主做贖價，富足的不必多出，貧窮的也不可少於半舍客勒。你要從以色列人拿這贖價銀子為自己做贖價，支配它給會棚使用，好使以色列人在永恆主面前被提醒。』永恆主告訴摩西說：『你要用銅作洗濯盆、做洗濯的用處；也要用銅作盆座。要將盆放在會棚和祭壇之間，將水放在盆裏；亞倫和他的兒子們要在那裏洗手洗腳。

你要把燒香的金壇安在法櫃的前面，把帳幕出入處的簾子安設上。
