這樣，你們就不污穢所住之地，因為血是污穢地的；若有在地上流人血的，非流那殺人者的血，那地就不得潔淨。

這樣，你們就不至於使你們所在之地成了俗污，因為血能使地成了俗污；若有在地上流人血的，非流那殺人者的血，那地之被血染就不能得潔除。

如是、則不污爾所居之地、蓋流人血、乃污其地、非流殺人者之血、則無以潔之、

如殺人命、則污衊斯土、殺人者未償命、則污仍不去、

毋污爾所居之地、殺人流血、即為污其地、若殺人流血於地、不殺殺人者流其血、則地不得潔、

“‘ Do not pollute the land where you are. Bloodshed pollutes the land, and atonement cannot be made for the land on which blood has been shed, except by the blood of the one who shed it.

“‘ Do not pollute the land where you are. Murder pollutes the land. Only one thing can pay to remove the pollution in the land where murder has been committed. The blood of the one who spilled another’s blood must be spilled.

You shall not pollute the land in which you live, for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except by the blood of the one who shed it.

This will ensure that the land where you live will not be polluted, for murder pollutes the land. And no sacrifice except the execution of the murderer can purify the land from murder.

“ Do not defile the land where you live, for bloodshed defiles the land, and there can be no atonement for the land because of the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of the person who shed it.

So you shall not defile the land in which you live; for blood defiles the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of the one who shed it.

So you shall not pollute the land where you are; for blood defiles the land, and no atonement can be made for the land, for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of him who shed it.

So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood, it polluteth the land; and no expiation can be made for the land for the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.

現在有許多國的民聚集攻擊你，說：願錫安被玷污！願我們親眼見她遭報！

凡流人血的，他的血也必被人所流，因為神造人是照自己的形像造的。

流無辜人的血，就是自己兒女的血，把他們祭祀迦南的偶像，那地就被血污穢了。

「人子啊，你要對這地說：你是未得潔淨之地，在惱恨的日子也沒有雨下在你以上。其中的先知同謀背叛，如咆哮的獅子抓撕掠物。他們吞滅人民，搶奪財寶，使這地多有寡婦。其中的祭司強解我的律法，褻瀆我的聖物，不分別聖的和俗的，也不使人分辨潔淨的和不潔淨的，又遮眼不顧我的安息日；我也在他們中間被褻慢。其中的首領彷彿豺狼抓撕掠物，殺人流血，傷害人命，要得不義之財。

然而，耶和華向猶大所發猛烈的怒氣仍不止息，是因瑪拿西諸事惹動他。

他們又與巴力‧毗珥連合，且吃了祭死神的物。

使創世以來所流眾先知血的罪都要問在這世代的人身上，就是從亞伯的血起，直到被殺在壇和殿中間撒迦利亞的血為止。我實在告訴你們，這都要問在這世代的人身上。

這就是你們自己證明是殺害先知者的子孫了。你們去充滿你們祖宗的惡貫吧！你們這些蛇類、毒蛇之種啊，怎能逃脫地獄的刑罰呢？所以我差遣先知和智慧人並文士到你們這裏來，有的你們要殺害，要釘十字架；有的你們要在會堂裏鞭打，從這城追逼到那城，叫世上所流義人的血都歸到你們身上，從義人亞伯的血起，直到你們在殿和壇中間所殺的巴拉加的兒子撒迦利亞的血為止。

因為耶和華從他的居所出來，要刑罰地上居民的罪孽。地也必露出其中的血，不再掩蓋被殺的人。

「在耶和華－你神所賜你為業的地上，若遇見被殺的人倒在田野，不知道是誰殺的，長老和審判官就要出去，從被殺的人那裏量起，直量到四圍的城邑，看哪城離被殺的人最近，那城的長老就要從牛羣中取一隻未曾耕地、未曾負軛的母牛犢，把母牛犢牽到流水、未曾耕種的山谷去，在谷中打折母牛犢的頸項。祭司利未的子孫要近前來；因為耶和華－你的神揀選了他們事奉他，奉耶和華的名祝福，所有爭訟毆打的事都要憑他們判斷。那城的眾長老，就是離被殺的人最近的，要在那山谷中，在所打折頸項的母牛犢以上洗手，禱告說：『我們的手未曾流這人的血；我們的眼也未曾看見這事。耶和華啊，求你赦免你所救贖的以色列民，不要使流無辜血的罪歸在你的百姓以色列中間。』這樣，流血的罪必得赦免。

連地也玷污了，所以我追討那地的罪孽，那地也吐出它的居民。

但起假誓，不踐前言，殺害，偷盜，姦淫，行強暴，殺人流血，接連不斷。因此，這地悲哀，其上的民、田野的獸、空中的鳥必都衰微，海中的魚也必消滅。

又因他流無辜人的血，充滿了耶路撒冷；耶和華決不肯赦免。

他的屍首不可留在木頭上過夜，必要當日將他葬埋，免得玷污了耶和華－你神所賜你為業之地。因為被掛的人是在神面前受咒詛的。
