杀人的，要凭着几个见证人的口供，才可以把他处死；如果只有一个见证人，就不能指证把人处死。

如果他不肯听，就另外带一两个人同去，好使一切话，凭两三个证人的口，可以确定。

如果有人干犯了摩西的律法，凭着两三个证人，他尚且得不到怜悯而死；

凭着两个或三个见证人的口供，就可以把那该死的人处死；只是凭着一个见证人的口供，却不可以把人处死。见证人要先下手，然后众民也下手，把他处死。这样，你就把那恶从你中间除掉。

“‘如果人用铁器打人，以致把人打死，他就是故意杀人的；故意杀人的必被处死。
