“‘ Anyone who kills a person is to be put to death as a murderer only on the testimony of witnesses. But no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.

如果他不聽勸告，你就帶一兩位弟兄去見他，讓兩三個人為談話作證。

人違犯摩西的律法，經兩三個人指證後，尚且被毫不留情地處死，

這是我第三次要去你們那裡。聖經上說：「任何控告必須有兩三個證人作證才能成立。」

你們的律法不是說兩個人做見證就有效嗎？我是自己為自己做見證，差我來的父也為我做見證。」

「難道不聽被告申辯，不查明事實真相，我們的律法就定祂的罪嗎？」

我要賜權柄給我的兩個見證人，他們將身穿麻衣，傳道一千二百六十天。」

但你們不可單憑一個證人便處死那人，要有兩三個證人方可處死他。證人要先扔石頭，眾人隨後，這樣就除掉了你們中間的罪惡。
