如果他不听劝告，你就带一两位弟兄去见他，让两三个人为谈话作证。

人违犯摩西的律法，经两三个人指证后，尚且被毫不留情地处死，

这是我第三次要去你们那里。圣经上说：“任何控告必须有两三个证人作证才能成立。”

你们的律法不是说两个人做见证就有效吗？我是自己为自己做见证，差我来的父也为我做见证。”

“难道不听被告申辩，不查明事实真相，我们的律法就定祂的罪吗？”

我要赐权柄给我的两个见证人，他们将身穿麻衣，传道一千二百六十天。”

但你们不可单凭一个证人便处死那人，要有两三个证人方可处死他。证人要先扔石头，众人随后，这样就除掉了你们中间的罪恶。

“‘倘若有人用铁器打人致死，他就是故意杀人，必须被处死。
