但現在基督已經來到，作了將來美事的大祭司，經過那更大更全備的帳幕，不是人手所造，也不是屬乎這世界的；並且不用山羊和牛犢的血，乃用自己的血，只一次進入聖所，成了永遠贖罪的事。

因為我們得知真道以後，若故意犯罪，贖罪的祭就再沒有了；惟有戰懼等候審判和那燒滅眾敵人的烈火。人干犯摩西的律法，憑兩三個見證人，尚且不得憐恤而死，何況人踐踏神的兒子，將那使他成聖之約的血當作平常，又褻慢施恩的聖靈，你們想，他要受的刑罰該怎樣加重呢！因為我們知道誰說：「伸冤在我，我必報應」；又說：「主要審判他的百姓。」

保羅對百夫長和兵丁說：「這些人若不等在船上，你們必不能得救。」

我們卻不是退後入沉淪的那等人，乃是有信心以致靈魂得救的人。

論到那些已經蒙了光照、嘗過天恩的滋味、又於聖靈有分，並嘗過神善道的滋味、覺悟來世權能的人，若是離棄道理，就不能叫他們重新懊悔了。因為他們把神的兒子重釘十字架，明明地羞辱他。就如一塊田地，吃過屢次下的雨水，生長菜蔬，合乎耕種的人用，就從神得福；若長荊棘和蒺藜，必被廢棄，近於咒詛，結局就是焚燒。

他到了那裏，看見神所賜的恩就歡喜，勸勉眾人，立定心志，恆久靠主。

我們若將起初確實的信心堅持到底，就在基督裏有分了。

為此，他作了新約的中保，既然受死贖了人在前約之時所犯的罪過，便叫蒙召之人得着所應許永遠的產業。凡有遺命必須等到留遺命的人死了；因為人死了，遺命才有效力，若留遺命的尚在，那遺命還有用處嗎？

你們要常在我裏面，我也常在你們裏面。枝子若不常在葡萄樹上，自己就不能結果子；你們若不常在我裏面，也是這樣。我是葡萄樹，你們是枝子。常在我裏面的，我也常在他裏面，這人就多結果子；因為離了我，你們就不能做甚麼。人若不常在我裏面，就像枝子丟在外面枯乾，人拾起來，扔在火裏燒了。
