But if he thrust him of hatred, or hurl at him by laying of wait, that he die;

人若因怨恨把人推倒，或是埋伏往人身上扔物，以致于死，

倘若有人因怨恨把人推倒致死，或故意扔东西砸人致死，

如果人因怀恨把人推倒，或是埋伏着向人扔东西，以致把人打死；

人若因怨恨把人推倒，或埋伏等着丟東西砸人，以至於死，

倘若有人因怨恨把人推倒致死，或故意扔東西砸人致死，

如果人因懷恨把人推倒，或是埋伏著向人扔東西，以致把人打死；

人若因怨恨人而把人推倒，或是懷着惡意往人身上扔東西，以致那人死去，

若蓄怨而仆人、或潛伏而以物擲人至死、

若蓄怨而刺人、或伏要而射人、

若恨人而推之下、或特意以物擲其身致死、

If anyone with malice aforethought shoves another or throws something at them intentionally so that they die

What if a person makes evil plans against someone else? And what if that person pushes them so that they die? Or what if that person throws something at them so that they die?

And if he pushed him out of hatred or hurled something at him, lying in wait, so that he died,

So if someone hates another person and waits in ambush, then pushes him or throws something at him and he dies, it is murder.

Likewise, if anyone in hatred pushes a person or throws an object at him with malicious intent and he dies,

Now if he pushed him in hatred, or he threw something at him with malicious intent, and as a result he died,

If he pushes him out of hatred or, while lying in wait, hurls something at him so that he dies,

And if he thrust him of hatred, or hurled at him, lying in wait, so that he died,

Likewise, if anyone in hatred pushes a person or throws an object at him with malicious intent and he dies,

“ But if he strikes him out of hatred or throws something at him intentionally so that he dies,

If he shoved him out of hatred, or hurled something at him while lying in wait, so that he died,

But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.

But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities:

And when Abner was returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside in the gate to speak with him quietly, and smote him there under the fifth[ rib], that he died, for the blood of Asahel his brother.

But Amasa took no heed to the sword that[ was] in Joab’s hand: so he smote him therewith in the fifth[ rib], and shed out his bowels to the ground, and struck him not again; and he died. So Joab and Abishai his brother pursued after Sheba the son of Bichri.

And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee.

Moreover, my father, see, yea, see the skirt of thy robe in my hand: for in that I cut off the skirt of thy robe, and killed thee not, know thou and see that[ there is] neither evil nor transgression in mine hand, and I have not sinned against thee; yet thou huntest my soul to take it.

For without cause have they hid for me their net[ in] a pit,[ which] without cause they have digged for my soul.Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.

And Absalom spake unto his brother Amnon neither good nor bad: for Absalom hated Amnon, because he had forced his sister Tamar.

But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

Now Absalom had commanded his servants, saying, Mark ye now when Amnon’s heart is merry with wine, and when I say unto you, Smite Amnon; then kill him, fear not: have not I commanded you? be courageous, and be valiant.And the servants of Absalom did unto Amnon as Absalom had commanded. Then all the king’s sons arose, and every man gat him up upon his mule, and fled.

For, lo, the wicked bend[ their] bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with[ his] hand.And Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with the javelin; but he slipped away out of Saul’s presence, and he smote the javelin into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night.Saul also sent messengers unto David’s house, to watch him, and to slay him in the morning: and Michal David’s wife told him, saying, If thou save not thy life to night, tomorrow thou shalt be slain.So Michal let David down through a window: and he went, and fled, and escaped.

My soul[ is] among lions:[ and] I lie[ even among] them that are set on fire,[ even] the sons of men, whose teeth[ are] spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens;[ let] thy glory[ be] above all the earth.They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen[ themselves]. Selah.

And the king said unto him, Do as he hath said, and fall upon him, and bury him; that thou mayest take away the innocent blood, which Joab shed, from me, and from the house of my father.And the LORD shall return his blood upon his own head, who fell upon two men more righteous and better than he, and slew them with the sword, my father David not knowing[ thereof, to wit], Abner the son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but upon David, and upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall there be peace for ever from the LORD.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and[ there was] a javelin in Saul’s hand.And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall[ with it]. And David avoided out of his presence twice.

And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.And the king was exceeding sorry;[ yet] for his oath’s sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.

And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.

And[ there] abode three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed to return through Macedonia.

And David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and came and said before Jonathan, What have I done? what[ is] mine iniquity? and what[ is] my sin before thy father, that he seeketh my life?

Moreover thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me,[ and] what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that[ was] about his loins, and in his shoes that[ were] on his feet.Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not his hoar head go down to the grave in peace.

And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God hath delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that hath gates and bars.And Saul called all the people together to war, to go down to Keilah, to besiege David and his men.And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring hither the ephod.

Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not:

He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him;

A man that doeth violence to the blood of[ any] person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.

And they lay wait for their[ own] blood; they lurk privily for their[ own] lives.So[ are] the ways of every one that is greedy of gain;[ which] taketh away the life of the owners thereof.

And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king’s enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.
