“ Command the Israelites to give the Levites towns to live in from the inheritance the Israelites will possess. And give them pasturelands around the towns.

“ Command the Israelites to give the Levites towns to live in. The towns must come from the shares of land the people will have as their own. Also give the Levites the grasslands around the towns.

“ Command the people of Israel to give to the Levites some of the inheritance of their possession as cities for them to dwell in. And you shall give to the Levites pasturelands around the cities.

“ Command the people of Israel to give to the Levites from their property certain towns to live in, along with the surrounding pasturelands.

“ Command the Israelites to give cities out of their hereditary property for the Levites to live in and pastureland around the cities.

“ Command the sons of Israel that they give to the Levites from the inheritance of their possession cities to live in; and you shall give to the Levites pasture lands around the cities.

“ Command the children of Israel that they give the Levites cities to dwell in from the inheritance of their possession, and you shall also give the Levites common-land around the cities.

蓋摩西曾在約但東、分地予二支派及一支派之半、其間惟不以地予利未人為業、蓋約瑟後裔、分為二支派、即瑪拿西支派、以法蓮支派、故不以地予利未人為業、惟予之數邑以居、及邑郊、為藏貨財、為牧牲畜、

附猶大界、自東至西、為爾所當獻之地、廣二萬五千竿、長如他區、自東至西、聖所在其中、

爾掣籤分地為業、當其中以一區獻於主為聖、長二萬五千竿、竿或作尺下同廣一萬竿、區內四周、俱為聖地、其中有歸聖所之地、長五百竿、廣五百竿、四周維方、四周有五十尺、以為隙隙或作郊地、量度聖地、長二萬五千竿、廣一萬竿、聖所與至聖所、當在其中、此為區分之聖地、歸於祭司、前來在聖所供職奉事主者、為建祭司宅第之處、及建聖所之聖地、為建祭司宅第之處及建聖所之聖地或作為建聖所與祭司宅第之處又有一區、長二萬五千竿、廣一萬竿、殿中供役之利未人、必得之為業、亦得殿中庫房二十、區分之聖地相向之所、當量一區、廣五千竿、長二萬五千竿、歸以色列全族、邑當建於此、邑當建於此文作此乃屬邑之地附近所獻之聖地、及屬邑之地、二旁之地歸君、沿區分之聖地、與屬邑之地、西至西界、東至東界、其長沿其區分之地、自東界至西界、其長沿其區分之地自東界至西界或作其長與區分之地自東界至西界相同君在以色列人中、得此為業、免君再虐遇我民、當以其餘之地、予以色列族、循支派而分之、○

天主豈為牛慮乎、抑特為我言之乎、固為我載之、蓋耕者必以望而耕、碾穀者亦必因望而碾、即得穀之望也、我儕既為爾播屬神之道、則獲爾屬身之物、豈為大事乎、他人尚操此權於爾中、況我儕乎、然我儕未用此權、寧忍一切、免阻基督之福音、爾豈不知務聖事者、由聖所得食乎、侍祭臺者、在祭臺有分乎、主亦如此命傳福音者、賴福音以養生、

利未人之業及歸邑之地、在屬君之地間、歸君之地、在猶大界、及便雅憫界之中、

利未人所得為業之城邑、其中利未人之宅、隨時可贖、如他利未人、贖利未人於己城中所鬻之宅、至禧年乃歸原主、因在以色列人中、利未人以己城中之宅為業、惟利未人城郊之田、為利未人之恆產、永不可鬻、○
