“ Command the Israelites to give the Levites towns to live in from the inheritance the Israelites will possess. And give them pasturelands around the towns.

“ Command the Israelites to give the Levites towns to live in. The towns must come from the shares of land the people will have as their own. Also give the Levites the grasslands around the towns.

“ Command the people of Israel to give to the Levites some of the inheritance of their possession as cities for them to dwell in. And you shall give to the Levites pasturelands around the cities.

原来，摩西在约旦河东已经把产业分给那两个半支派，只是在他们中间没有把产业分给利未人。因为约瑟的子孙是两个支派，就是玛拿西和以法莲，所以没有把地分给利未人，但给他们城邑居住，并城邑的郊野，可以牧养他们的牲畜，安置他们的财物。

挨着犹大的地界，从东到西，必有你们所当献的供地，宽二万五千肘。从东界到西界，长短与各份之地相同，圣地当在其中。

你们拈阄分地为业，要献上一份给耶和华为圣供地，长二万五千肘，宽一万肘。这份以内，四围都为圣地。其中有作为圣所之地，长五百肘，宽五百肘，四面见方。四围再有五十肘为郊野之地。要以肘为度量地，长二万五千肘，宽一万肘。其中有圣所，是至圣的。这是全地的一份圣地，要归与供圣所职事的祭司，就是亲近侍奉耶和华的，作为他们房屋之地与圣所之圣地。又有一份，长二万五千肘，宽一万肘，要归与在殿中供职的利未人，作为二十间房屋之业。也要分定属城的地业，宽五千肘，长二万五千肘，挨着那份圣供地，要归以色列全家。归王之地要在圣供地和属城之地的两旁，就是圣供地和属城之地的旁边，西至西头，东至东头，从西到东，其长与每支派的份一样。这地在以色列中必归王为业。我所立的王必不再欺压我的民，却要按支派将地分给以色列家。

不全是为我们说的吗？分明是为我们说的。因为耕种的当存着指望去耕种；打场的也当存得粮的指望去打场。我们若把属灵的种子撒在你们中间，就是从你们收割奉养肉身之物，这还算大事吗？若别人在你们身上有这权柄，何况我们呢？然而，我们没有用过这权柄，倒凡事忍受，免得基督的福音被阻隔。你们岂不知为圣事劳碌的就吃殿中的物吗？伺候祭坛的就分领坛上的物吗？主也是这样命定，叫传福音的靠着福音养生。

并且利未人之地，与归城之地的东西两边延长之地（这两地在王地中间），就是在犹大和便雅悯两界中间，要归与王。

然而利未人所得为业的城邑，其中的房屋，利未人可以随时赎回。若是一个利未人不将所卖的房屋赎回，是在所得为业的城内，到了禧年就要出买主的手，因为利未人城邑的房屋是他们在以色列人中的产业。只是他们各城郊野之地不可卖，因为是他们永远的产业。”

在迦南地的示罗对他们说：“从前耶和华藉着摩西吩咐给我们城邑居住，并城邑的郊野可以牧养我们的牲畜。”于是以色列人照耶和华所吩咐的，从自己的地业中，将以下所记的城邑和城邑的郊野给了利未人。为哥辖族拈阄：利未人的祭司、亚伦的子孙，从犹大支派、西缅支派、便雅悯支派的地业中，按阄得了十三座城。哥辖其余的子孙，从以法莲支派、但支派、玛拿西半支派的地业中，按阄得了十座城。革顺的子孙，从以萨迦支派、亚设支派、拿弗他利支派、住巴珊的玛拿西半支派的地业中，按阄得了十三座城。米拉利的子孙，按着宗族，从流便支派、迦得支派、西布伦支派的地业中，按阄得了十二座城。以色列人照着耶和华藉摩西所吩咐的，将这些城邑和城邑的郊野，按阄分给利未人。从犹大支派、西缅支派的地业中，将以下所记的城给了利未支派哥辖宗族亚伦的子孙；因为给他们拈出头一阄，
