“ Command the Israelites to give the Levites towns to live in from the inheritance the Israelites will possess. And give them pasturelands around the towns.

“ Command the Israelites to give the Levites towns to live in. The towns must come from the shares of land the people will have as their own. Also give the Levites the grasslands around the towns.

“ Command the people of Israel to give to the Levites some of the inheritance of their possession as cities for them to dwell in. And you shall give to the Levites pasturelands around the cities.

“ Command the people of Israel to give to the Levites from their property certain towns to live in, along with the surrounding pasturelands.

“ Command the Israelites to give cities out of their hereditary property for the Levites to live in and pastureland around the cities.

“ Command the sons of Israel that they give to the Levites from the inheritance of their possession cities to live in; and you shall give to the Levites pasture lands around the cities.

摩西在约旦河东已经把产业分给了吕便、迦得支派和玛拿西半个支派，只是没有把产业分给利未人。约瑟的子孙已分为玛拿西和以法莲两个支派。利未人没有分到地，但有城邑居住，还有城郊可以牧养牲畜，安置财物。

“犹大边界以南将是你们划分出来的那块地，宽十二点五公里，由东至西的长度与其他各支派的地相同，圣殿在那块地的中央。

“‘当你们抽签把土地分给以色列各支派作产业的时候，要分出一块献给耶和华作圣地。圣地要长十二点五公里，宽十公里，整块地都要圣洁。你们要在其中分出一块长宽各二百五十米的地建圣殿。殿的周围要有二十五米宽的空地。圣地当中要量一块长十二点五公里、宽五公里的地，其中要有圣所，是最圣洁的地方。这块圣地应归那些在圣所中事奉耶和华的祭司，作为他们的居所和建圣所之用。另一块十二点五公里长、五公里宽的土地给那些在圣殿工作的利未人居住，作他们的产业。“‘在圣地旁边要分出一块十二点五公里长、二点五公里宽的地建城，以色列人都可以到那里居住。“‘在圣地和城的东西两边是给君王的土地，西到地中海，东到约旦河，从西到东长度与一个支派所得的土地一样。这地方要作君王在以色列的产业。我的君王必不再欺压我的子民，而是按支派把地分给他们。

祂这样说难道不是为了我们吗？这话的确是为我们写的，因为耕耘的和打谷的农夫都应该存着分享收成的盼望劳作。既然我们在你们中间撒下了属灵的种子，难道就不能从你们那里得到物质上的收获吗？如果别人有权要求你们供应他们，我们岂不更有权吗？可是我们从来没有用过这权利，反而凡事忍耐，免得妨碍了基督的福音。你们难道不知道，在圣殿里事奉的人可以吃圣殿里的食物，在祭坛前事奉的人可以分享祭坛上的祭物吗？同样，主也曾吩咐：传福音的人理当借着福音得到生活的供应。

利未人的产业和城区在君王土地的中央，君王的土地在犹大和便雅悯支派之间。

在利未人的城邑里，利未人有权随时赎回所卖的房子。如果他们没有赎回，到了禧年要把房子归还他们；因为在利未人的城里，利未人的房屋是他们在以色列人中所拥有的产业。但不可出卖利未人城郊的草场。那是他们永远拥有的产业。
