今舉家起而攻婢曰、擊昆弟者、當付於我、而致之死、以償所殺昆弟之命、而絕其嗣、如是、則滅我餘燼、不為我夫留名與後於世、

斯邑既定、凡以色列人、與其中賓旅、誤殺人者、可逃於彼、免死於復仇者之手、迨其受鞫於會眾前、
