告以色列族云、汝渡約但、入於迦南、

告以色列人云、爾渡約但、入迦南地、

“ Speak to the Israelites and say to them:‘ When you cross the Jordan into Canaan,

“ Speak to the Israelites. Tell them,‘ You will soon go across the Jordan River. You will enter Canaan.

“ Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel.“ When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

“ Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them,‘ When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them:‘ When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come over Jordan into the land of Canaan;

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them,‘ When you cross over the Jordan River into the land of Canaan,

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them,‘ When you come into the land which I give you, then the land shall keep a Sabbath to Yahweh.

“ When you have come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put a spreading mildew in a house in the land of your possession,

for you haven’t yet come to the rest and to the inheritance which Yahweh your God gives you.

“ Command the children of Israel, and tell them,‘ When you come into the land of Canaan( this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders),

“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying,‘ Assign the cities of refuge, of which I spoke to you by Moses,that the man slayer who kills any person accidentally or unintentionally may flee there. They shall be to you for a refuge from the avenger of blood.He shall flee to one of those cities, and shall stand at the entrance of the gate of the city, and declare his case in the ears of the elders of that city. They shall take him into the city with them, and give him a place, that he may live among them.If the avenger of blood pursues him, then they shall not deliver up the man slayer into his hand; because he struck his neighbor unintentionally, and didn’t hate him before.He shall dwell in that city until he stands before the congregation for judgment, until the death of the high priest that shall be in those days. Then the man slayer shall return, and come to his own city, and to his own house, to the city he fled from.’”

When Yahweh your God cuts off the nations whose land Yahweh your God gives you, and you succeed them and dwell in their cities and in their houses,you shall set apart three cities for yourselves in the middle of your land, which Yahweh your God gives you to possess.
