南角要从寻的旷野，贴着以东的边界；南界要从盐海东头起，

罗得举目看见约旦河的全平原，直到琐珥，都是滋润的，那地在耶和华未灭所多玛、蛾摩拉以先如同耶和华的园子，也像埃及地。

这五王都在西订谷会合；西订谷就是盐海。

当时，耶和华将硫磺与火从天上耶和华那里降与所多玛和蛾摩拉，把那些城和全平原，并城里所有的居民，连地上生长的，都毁灭了。罗得的妻子在后边回头一看，就变成了一根盐柱。
