Your southern side will be from the Wilderness of Zin along the boundary of Edom. Your southern border on the east will begin at the east end of the Dead Sea.

Lot looked out and saw that the entire plain of the Jordan as far as Zoar was well watered everywhere like the LORD’s garden and the land of Egypt.( This was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.)

All of these came as allies to the Siddim Valley( that is, the Dead Sea).

Then out of the sky the LORD rained on Sodom and Gomorrah burning sulfur from the LORD.He demolished these cities, the entire plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and whatever grew on the ground.But Lot’s wife looked back and became a pillar of salt.
