你們若不把那地的居民從你們面前趕出去，你們所讓存留的人就會成了你們眼中的刺、肋下的荊棘，也會在你們所住的地擾害你們。

倘若你们不赶出那地的居民，所容留的居民就必作你们眼中的刺，肋下的荆棘，也必在你们所住的地上扰害你们。

倘若你们不把那地的居民从你们面前赶出去，那留下的居民就必成为你们眼中的刺，肋下的荆棘，也必在你们所住的地上扰乱你们；

倘若你们不把那地的居民从你们面前赶出去，那留下的居民就必成为你们眼中的刺，肋下的荆棘，也必在你们所住的地上扰乱你们；

如果你们不赶走那里的居民，留下来的人必成为你们眼里的刺和肋旁的荆棘，在你们所居之地搅扰你们，

如果你们不把那地的居民从你们面前赶出去，所留下的人就必成为你们眼中的刺，肋旁的荆棘，在你们所住的地方扰害你们；

如果你們不把那地的居民從你們面前趕出去，所留下的人就必成為你們眼中的刺，肋旁的荊棘，在你們所住的地方擾害你們；

斯土之民、爾不驅逐、則爾所遺者、必為爾目中之刺、脇下之棘、擾爾於所居之地、

斯土之眾、爾不驅逐、則其遺民、必為爾目中之刺、肘下之棘、困苦爾於此。

若爾不驅逐斯地之居民、爾所存留者、必為爾目中之荊、脇下之刺、必擾害爾於爾所居之地、

“‘ But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land, those you allow to remain will become barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will give you trouble in the land where you will live.

“‘ But suppose you do not drive out the people living in the land. Then those you allow to remain there will become like needles in your eyes. They will become like thorns in your sides. They will give you trouble in the land where you will live.

But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those of them whom you let remain shall be as barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall trouble you in the land where you dwell.

But if you fail to drive out the people who live in the land, those who remain will be like splinters in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will harass you in the land where you live.

But if you don’t drive out the inhabitants of the land before you, those you allow to remain will become barbs for your eyes and thorns for your sides; they will harass you in the land where you will live.

But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from you, then it will come about that those whom you let remain of them will be like thorns in your eyes and like pricks in your sides, and they will trouble you in the land in which you live.

But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall be that those whom you let remain shall be irritants in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land where you dwell.

因此我又說：「我必不將他們從你們面前攆出去；他們必成了你們肋下的荊棘；他們的神必餌誘你們入於網羅。」』

他們不照永恆主所吩咐他們的、去消滅外族之民，反而和外國人混雜嫁娶，學習他們的行為，事奉他們的偶像：這就成了餌誘自己的網羅。

你們若稍微轉離，去緊依附着這些在你們中間剩下來的餘留之國的人，而和他們彼此結親，攙雜通婚，那麼你們就要確實知道：永恆主你們的上帝必不再將這些國的人從你們面前趕出；他們卻要成為陷害你們的機檻和誘餌，成為你們肋下的鞭、眼中的荊棘，直到你們從永恆主你們的上帝所賜給你們這美好土地上滅亡掉為止。

永恆主你的上帝所交給你的別族之民、你要把他們除滅掉；你的眼不可顧惜他們；你也不可事奉他們的神，因為這會餌誘你入於網羅。

別讓他們住在你的地上，恐怕他們使你犯罪敵擋我；你若事奉他們的神，這就會餌誘你入於網羅。』

因為他會使你的兒子偏離、而不跟從我，反而去事奉別的神，以致永恆主向你們發怒，而迅速消滅你們。

至於住耶路撒冷的耶布斯人、便雅憫人卻沒有把他們趕出；於是耶布斯人和便雅憫人就同住在耶路撒冷、直到今日。約瑟家也上去攻打伯特利；永恆主和他們同在。約瑟家打發了人去窺探伯特利。那城從前名叫路斯。偵探看見一個人從城裏出來，就對他說：『請把進城的路指示我們，我們就恩待你。』那人把進城的路指示他們，他們就用刀擊殺了城裏的人，但將那人和他全家放走。那人往赫人之地去，建造了一座城，起它起名叫路斯；直到今日、那城還叫這名。瑪拿西也沒有趕出伯善和屬伯善廂鎮的居民，他納和屬他納廂鎮的居民，多珥和屬多珥廂鎮的居民，以伯蓮和屬以伯蓮廂鎮的居民，米吉多和屬米吉多廂鎮的居民；這些迦南人執意住在那地。到以色列強大了，就使迦南人作苦工，沒有把他們全都趕出。以法蓮也沒有把住基色的迦南人趕出；於是迦南人仍住在基色、在以法蓮中間。西布倫沒有把基倫的居民和拿哈拉的居民趕出；於是迦南人仍住在西布倫中間，成了作苦工的人。亞設沒有把亞柯的居民和西頓的居民趕出，也沒有把亞黑拉、亞革悉、黑巴、亞弗革、和利合的居民趕出；於是亞設人住在那地的居民迦南人中間，因為他們沒有把他們趕出。拿弗他利沒有把伯示麥的居民和伯亞納的居民趕出；於是拿弗他利就住在那地的居民迦南人中間；然而伯示麥和伯亞納的居民卻成了給以色列人作苦工的。亞摩利人把但人擠回山地上，不容他們下到山谷來。亞摩利人執意住在希烈山、亞雅倫、和沙賓，然而約瑟家的手佔了優勢，他們就成了作苦工的人。亞摩利人的境界是從亞克拉濱上坡、從西拉巖上去的。

『對於以色列家，四圍那些輕蔑他們的人、以後必不再向他們作刺人的蒺藜、作給人疼痛的荊棘。人就知道我乃是主永恆主。
