Distribute the land by lot, according to your clans. To a larger group give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group a smaller one. Whatever falls to them by lot will be theirs. Distribute it according to your ancestral tribes.

Cast lots when you divide up the land. Do it based on the number of people in each tribe and family. Give a larger share to a larger group. And give a smaller group a smaller share. The share they receive by casting lots will belong to them. Give out the shares based on the number of people in Israel’s tribes.

You shall inherit the land by lot according to your clans. To a large tribe you shall give a large inheritance, and to a small tribe you shall give a small inheritance. Wherever the lot falls for anyone, that shall be his. According to the tribes of your fathers you shall inherit.

You must distribute the land among the clans by sacred lot and in proportion to their size. A larger portion of land will be allotted to each of the larger clans, and a smaller portion will be allotted to each of the smaller clans. The decision of the sacred lot is final. In this way, the portions of land will be divided among your ancestral tribes.

猶大支派、循其世系、掣籤而得之地、其南界至以東邊隅、汛野南方。自鹽海之濱、向南之澳。南至亞克拉濱岡、延至汛野、自此而南、至迦鐵巴尼亞、又至希斯崙、及亞撻、環繞甲迦、自甲迦至押門、沿至埃及河、極於大海、為其南境。其東界即鹽海、至約但河口、其北界自海澳、即約但河口、至伯曷拉、沿伯亞拉巴北、至流便後裔波罕之石。其界又至底必、自亞割谷北、至吉甲、亞都冥岡相對之所、在河南濱、延宴示麥泉、至宴羅結、其界通便欣嫩子之谷、在耶布士邑、即耶路撒冷南、又至便欣嫩谷之西山、即哩乏音谷北。由此山巔、至尼弗多亞泉、至以弗崙山邑、延至把拉、即基列耶林、環繞把拉向西、至西耳山、延至耶林山旁、即基撒倫北、下至伯示麥、及亭拿。又至以革倫北、至實倫、把拉山、押業極於海。西界大海之濱、以上所載猶大族四周之界、循其世系。

約瑟長子、馬拿西掣籤得業。馬拿西初生馬吉、馬吉生基列、基列善戰、故得基列巴山地。馬拿西諸子亦得業、循其世系、即亞庇以泄、希勒、亞士烈、示劍、希弗、示米大諸族、是皆約瑟子馬拿西子孫、循其世系。○馬拿西玄孫、馬吉曾孫、基列孫希弗子、西羅非哈無子有女、名馬拉、挪亞、曷拉、密迦、得撒、僉就祭司以利亞撒、及嫩之子約書亞、暨牧伯前、曰、耶和華諭摩西、在兄弟中、以業給我、故賜以業、循耶和華命、除約但東、基列巴山地外、馬拿西族得地十區為業、馬拿西諸子得基列地為業、馬拿西女之業、亦在其中。○馬拿西之界自亞設至示劍前之密米大、北至隱大布亞、馬拿西族得大布亞地、惟界內之大布亞邑、歸以法蓮族。界至加拿溪南、上二邑雖在馬拿西地、俱歸以法蓮族。馬拿西界在溪北、極於海。溪南屬以法蓮、溪北屬馬拿西、海為西界、北有亞設、東有以薩迦為界。在以薩迦及亞設業中、馬拿西得伯善、以伯蓮、多耳、與其鄉里、亦得隱多耳、大納、米吉多、三邑與其居民鄉里。馬拿西族不能逐是邑居民、故迦南人仍居其地。以色列族剛強、徵貢於迦南人、不逐之盡。○
