开路者要走在他们前面，带领他们冲出敌人的城门。他们的王走在前面，耶和华亲自引导他们。”

你们不必匆忙离开，也不用奔逃，因为耶和华必走在你们前面，以色列的上帝必作你们的后盾。

埃及人惧怕他们，乐见他们离去。

约瑟遵照法老之命把埃及最好的地方——兰塞境内的土地给他父亲和弟兄们居住，作他们的产业。

“从现在开始，你们要以这个月为一月，为一年之首。

于是，埃及人派监工强迫以色列人服劳役，在比东和兰塞两地为法老兴建储货城。
