At the Lord’s command Moses recorded the stages in their journey. This is their journey by stages:

This was the first time they set out on their journey according to the commandment of the LORD, by the authority of Moses.

Then he said to me,“ Get up, set out leading the people so they may go and possess the land I promised to give to their ancestors.”

Now it is ordinarily an eleven-day journey from Horeb to Kadesh Barnea by way of Mount Seir.

And when you blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that are located on the south side must begin to travel. An alarm must be sounded for their journeys.
